POWER100’S HONG KONG FOR A SONG
The following terms and conditions apply for the Grant Broadcasters POWER100’S HONG KONG FOR A SONG
promotion. This promotion will be referred to as HKFAS for the remainder of the document.
These terms and conditions apply in conjunction with Grant Broadcasters General Contest Rules. Where there is any
inconsistency, these terms and conditions will prevail.
1. DURATION
POWER100’S HKFAS will begin Monday 6th August, 2018 and continue until the 31st of August, 2018, with the major
draw being held from 8:00am – 9:00am on location at Grant Broadcasters location on Monday 3rd September, 2018.
2. METHOD OF ENTRY
Listeners are invited to play POWER100’S HKFAS by listening out for our daily winning song. Each active week day
in the 7:00am hour, the POWER100 Breakfast team will play a snippet of the daily winning song, without revealing the
song title artist or time the song will be played. Teasers will continue to play throughout the day until the winning song
is played. Each morning, and throughout the active days, the announcers will also reveal that the daily winning song
can be found in the Townsville Bulletin, with the actual song title and artist listed along with the hour time frame the
song will be placed. The first caller through when the song is played will be short listed to participate in the final draw.
On occasion POWER100 will play the daily winning song twice, in which POWER100 listeners will have the
opportunity to get into the final on two occasions on a single day.
The final draw will require all finalists to assemble at Grant Broadcasters head office on the day and time of
the above final. Three finalists will be selected to participate in a suitcase rummage. There will be 3 full and
messy suitcases presented for the finalists, where 10 identical travel items will be hidden in the suitcases.
The first contestant to find all 10 items will win the major prize.
3. PRIZE
The major prize will consist of the following for TWO people – the major winner and their choice of travel companion.
The major prize will not be confirmed or booked without the travel details of the major prize winner and their chosen travel
companion.
The major prize winner and their travel companion MUST have a valid Australian passport.
The major prize winner and their travel companion MUST arrange their own visa applications if applicable.
The major prize winner and their travel companion are responsible for their spending money.
- Return domestic flights for two people to Hong Kong
- 4 nights accommodation for two people at Hotel Vic in Hong Kong
- 2 x airport transfer passes
- 2 x sim cards
- 1 x Sham Shui Po tour for two people

- in a G.O.D designer shopping bag
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS
The winner of the major prize will be the first contestant to successfully find all 10 travel items hidden in the suitcases.
In the event that a finalist does not show to the final draw and is selected to participate in the suitcase rummage, there
will be a redraw.
PLEASE NOTE: There is NO possibility of a stand in for the final. The successful caller through to the final,
must be on site for the final or they forfeit their right to win the major prize.
5. NOTIFICATION
Prize winners will be notified on air at the time of winning. The winner will then be contacted by phone call to discuss
logistics of the final draw. The major prize winner will be notified on site that they have won.
The major prize winner will be required to contact Grant Broadcasters within 14 days of winning the major prize with
their travel details, along with the details of their travel companion. Grant Broadcasters will confirm these details with
the major prize giver and commence the booking process.
PLEASE NOTE: Travel dates subject to the blackout period is as follows.
The block out period is Oct 12-29, Nov 13-16, Dec 30-31, 2018, space is subject to hotel room situation upon
reservation, based on Premium Harbour View Room.
6. INDEMNITY
All contestants release from, and indemnify Grant Broadcasters against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out
of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal
injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or
omission or otherwise.
By entering this competition, the entrant agrees to their voice and/or image to be used on air or in other marketing
collateral (including social media).
7. ENTRY CONDITIONS.
Employees and their immediate families of are ineligible to enter. Employees and their immediate families of all
associated sponsors and participating companies are also ineligible to enter. Winners must be from within the
broadcast area of the radio station to enter.
If after winner’s announcement a breach of eligibility is discovered, the prize will not be awarded.
Contestants may be required to forfeit their prize or be disqualified from entry at the discretion of Grant Broadcasters.
8. ALTERATION OF CONTEST SPOTS.
Grant Broadcasters reserves the right to alter or drop contest spots from the competition due to changed
programming conditions in the event of a natural disaster or for any other unforeseeable reason.
