1. Information on how to enter, mechanics of entry and prizes form part of these
Conditions of Entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions
of Entry. Entry is via internet only.
ELIGIBLITY
2. Entry is only open to residents of NSW, Australia and in the event that their entry is
drawn as the winning entry for the Sydney Kings vs LA Clippers in Hawaii Competition,
is able to participate in the prize as set out below (Entrant).
3. The directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the
Promoter, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies whom are
directly associated with the conduct of this promotion are ineligible to enter the
promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto
spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent,
grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother,
step-sister or 1st cousin.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
4. The promotion commences at 9:00am (AEST) on Friday 20/07/2018 and closes at
11:59pm (AEST) on Friday 31/08/2018 (Promotional Period).
5. The draw will take place at 9:00am AEST on Monday 3 September 2018 at the Sydney
Kings Administration Offices within Qudos Bank Arena, at Edwin Flack Avenue, Sydney
Olympic Park NSW 2127.
6. The Promoter may draw three (3) additional reserve Entries in the Draw and record
them (in order) in case an invalid Entrant, ineligible Entrant or incomplete Entry is
drawn, or the first draw Entrant is unable to accept, or declines to participate in a prize.
Each Entrant whose Entry is drawn by the Promoter must confirm their eligibility to be
awarded the prize and their ability to accept and participate in the prize within three (3)
business days of being successful notified by the Promoter that their Entry has been
drawn, otherwise they will forfeit the prize. In the event of an invalid Entry or an
ineligible Entrant, or if the Entrant is unable to accept or declines to participate in a
prize, the prize will be awarded to the first reserve Entry drawn. if a prize cannot be
awarded to the Entrant drawn, the Promoter will continue this process until the prize is
awarded.
HOW TO ENTER
7. To enter, Entrants must, during the Promotional Period:
a. Log onto the Sydney Kings website and complete the entry form in the manner
required to fully and correctly complete, and successfully submit the only entry
form, including providing the Entrant’s full name, Email, Best Contact Numbers,
Suburb and Postcode (Entry).
8. Only one (1) Entry is permitted per person, per email address. In the case of multiple
Entries, duplicate Entries will be removed.
9. Any costs associated with accessing the Promotional Website remain the Entrant’s
responsibility and may vary depending on the Internet service or telecommunications
provider used.
PRIZES
10. The first eligible Entry randomly drawn from all Entries received during the Promotional
Period will win one (1) Sydney Kings vs LA Clippers in Hawaii Experience. The
Experience will take place in Hawaii, Honolulu for five (5) nights during the period
Saturday 28/09/2018 and returning Tuesday 02/10/2018 (inclusive) for the winner and
three (3) companions, one of which must be 21 years or older. The total prize is valued
at AUD$14,000.00.
11. The Sydney Kings v LA Clippers in Hawaii Experience comprises of the following
elements:
a. Four (4) tickets to attend the Sydney Kings vs LA Clippers game, seated in the
assigned Sydney Kings seating section, on Sunday 30 September 2018 at the
Stan Sheriff Centre, Honolulu.
b. Four (4) return economy airfares from Sydney Kingsford Smith International
Airport Australia (SYD), to Daniel K. Inoyue International Airport Honolulu,
Hawaii (HNL)
c. Five (5) nights minimum 3 star twin share accommodation for four (4) people at
a hotel nominated by the Promoter in its sole discretion
d. Exclusive access for the winner and three (3) companion(s) (if any) at a closeddoors
practice session with the Sydney Kings team, inclusive of transfers to
and from the practice session with the team
e. Breakfast for the winner and their companion(s) (if any) with the players and
coaches on Friday 28 September 2018 at the Sydney Kings team hotel
f. An evening with the coach, Andrew Gaze, on Friday 28 September 2018, for
the winner and three (3) companion(s) (if any)
g. A private tour of the Stan Sheriff Centre on Saturday 29 September 2018, for
the winner and three (3) companion(s) (if any)
h. A limited edition merchandise item for the winner only.
12. The prize must be taken on the dates nominated by the Promoter to coincide with the
Sydney Kings v LA Clippers in Hawaii competition, otherwise the prize if forfeited. The
precise flight and accommodation details and the schedule of activities included in the
prize will be notified to the winner by the Promoter in writing at least ten (10) business
days in advance. The Promoter reserves the right in their absolute discretion to change
or amend the event program without notice. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for
cancellation, rescheduling, change or delay of the Sydney Kings vs LA Clippers in
Hawaii experience.
13. No extension of the travel and accommodation will be permitted. All components of the
prize must be taken together and when offered or are forfeited. The prize winner and
their companions (if any) must travel together and depart from and return to the same
departure point. No frequent flyer points can be accrued from the flights comprising of
the prize. Travel and accommodation are to be arranged by the Promoter and/or its
associated agencies, and are subject to availability at time of booking and embargo
periods.
14. All additional costs not expressly stated, but which may be incurred in acceptance and
use of the prize(s), are the responsibility of the winner and their companion(s) (if any).
Such additional costs may include, but are not limited to additional travel and
transportation, meals and beverages, room service, telephone calls, internet
connection, telephone or data plan charges, software or applications, laundry services,
additional spending money, transport to and from airport departure point (unless other
stipulated), taxes including arrival and departure taxes excluding airfare related taxes
and charges included in the prize, tickets purchased on other airlines and insurance.
15. Travel insurance is not included in this prize and is solely the responsibility of the
winner and their companion(s) (if any).
16. The prize is subject to natural calamities or force majeure.
17. The winner and their companion(s) (if any) must conduct themselves in a responsible,
courteous and friendly manner at all times whilst participating in the prize. Acceptance
of a prize and participation in the prize is subject to any prevailing terms and conditions
of travel/accommodation/transfers/services suppliers and any other prize suppliers, and
in particular behaviour and safety requirements. The winner(s) and/or their
companion(s) (if any) must follow all reasonable directions given by the Promoter and
any prize supplier during the course of their participation in a prize or any activity
forming part of a prize, including all directions in relation to responsible consumption of
alcohol, behaviour and safety. The Promoter and any prize supplier reserve the right, in
their absolute discretion, to refuse entry into or departure out of Sydney, Australia or
Honolulu, Hawaii, or to refuse participation in certain activities, including on the grounds
of inappropriate behaviour, safety reasons, or for any breach of these Conditions of
Entry generally. If the winner(s) and/or their companion(s) (if any) fail to participate in a
prize in the manner required, as stated in this condition and in the reasonable opinion
of the Promoter, their entry and the balance of the prize will be forfeited with no
compensation payable
18. The Promoter reserves the right to request a winner and their companion(s) (if any) to
produce appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s
satisfaction, as its absolute sole discretion) in order to confirm their identity and age of
the winner and their companion(s) (if any) in order to accept or participate in any
element of the prize. The winner and their companion(s) must ensure that they have a
valid identification including but not limited to a driver’s license, an identification card
and/or a valid passport in order to accept the prize.
19. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18, they must be accompanied by at least
one (1) companion over the age of 21. They must travel together and share the same
itinerary at all times throughout the duration of the trip.
20. Flights will be booked by Hawaii Tourism Oceania. Once the flights have been booked,
they are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-upgradable.
Further fare rules may apply and the winner is subject to further costs as stated above.
21. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute for any reason whatsoever a prize (or
portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at its absolute sole discretion. The
prize is awarded as is, without warranty nor guarantees, subject to any written
directions from a regulatory authority. In the event of a flight cancellation or other
irregularity, award travel will be rescheduled only on the airline for which the original
ticket was issued.
22. The Promoter will not be responsible for any inconvenience, damages, expenses or
loss incurred by the winner and their companion(s) (if any) if travel is interrupted or an
award ticket is invalidated due to violation of these terms and conditions.
