By entering the “Genesis Golf Competition” (the “Competition”), you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.3, entry is open to residents of Australia, 18 years of age or older, where the Channel Seven (and affiliates) signal is received.
2.2 Entrants must be able to travel Los Angeles, United States of America, to attend the 2019 Genesis Open on Tuesday 12 February 2019.
2.3 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Ltd, Genesis Motors Australia, Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Thursday 8 November 2018 at 09:00 AEDT and concludes on Saturday 18 November at 23:59 AEDT (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, viewers must watch the Emirates Australian Open 2018 (“the Program”) on the Seven Network (and affiliates), where a competition spot will be promoted inviting viewers to enter the Competition.
3.3 In order to enter the Competition, viewers will be invited to visit 7golf.com.au, where they will be required to complete the entry form including but not limited to their first and last name, address, contact details and in twenty five (25) words or less, “Who do you think is the greatest golfer to have played in the Emirates Australia Open and why?”
3.4 Any cost associated with accessing the promotional websites is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means, as deemed to be at the Promoter’s sole discretion, that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
3.5 Entrants in the Competition may enter the Competition as many times as they like during the Competition Period, however each entry must be unique.
3.6 This Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Winner.

Total maximum prize pool value for the Prize is up to $15,000.00 Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in Prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the Prize is taken.
4.3 In accepting the Prize the Winner agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the Winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the Winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.4 The Winner agrees they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.5 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner and their companion must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Promoter’s requirements.
4.6 As this is an event based Prize, the Winner and their companion must be available to depart on Tuesday 12 February 2019 to coincide with the 2019 Genesis Open event at Riviera Golf Club. These dates are fixed and no changes are permitted. The Winner is required to advise the Promoter of their booking information by no later than Wednesday 12 December 2018.
4.7 Visas and passport requirements and expenses are the responsibility of the Winner and their companion. The Winner and their companion must have at least 6 months validity on their passport from their return date into Australia. Passport and Visa requirements change regularly. The Promoter recommends the Winner and companion contact the embassy or consulate of the relevant country to ensure they meet all application criteria. It is a requirement from 1 April 2016, that for travel to the United States of America under the Visa Waiver Program, travellers approved to utilise the program must hold a passport with an integrated chip. Further information regarding the availability of the Visa Wavier Program can be found at
http://www.immihelp.com/visa-waiver-program. The Winner and their travelling companion are responsible for complying with the program, in the event that they are qualified to utilise it . If it is found that the Winner is ineligible to enter the United States of America, they will be deemed invalid and lose all claim to the Prize.
4.8 The Winner and their companion must travel from nearest Australian capital city. Any transit costs associated with reaching the nearest capital city are the responsibility of the Winner and companion. The Winner and their companion must travel at the same time and depart from the same capital city. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, including choice of airlines. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the Prize. Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
4.9 During the entire duration of the Prize holiday, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.
4.10 The Winner and their companion are responsible for any necessary vaccinations and must check with their doctor before travelling that their vaccinations are up to date.
4.11 In the event that an element of an event, concert or other similar prize outlined in Clause 4.1 above is, for any reason, cancelled, postponed or not available, that element(s) of the prize will be considered as forfeited and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the prize.. If the Winner forfeits a specified element, no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the Prize.
4.12 Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses are the responsibility of the Winner and their companion including but not limited to all meals, spending money, incidentals, mini-bar, laundry, tips, room service, telephone calls, ground transfers, excess baggage, travel insurance for activities not included in the Prize, meals (other than specified), government taxes, airport charges and all other ancillary and personal costs. Travel insurance is not included in the Prize, but is highly recommended and is at the expense of the Winner and their companion.
4.13 A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the Winner at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges.
4.14 Prizes are not redeemable for cash and are not transferrable or exchangeable.
4.15 The Prize is subject to the relevant event venues and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any Winner (and/or his/her companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, at their absolute discretion, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the Prize.
4.16 Once the Prize is accepted, the Winner must deal directly with the Sponsor. Once signed booking forms are received, no changes are permitted.
4.17 The Winner must sign a Prize acceptance form including a liability and publicity waiver within two (2) weeks of being notified as a winner to formally accept the Prize.
4.18 Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the Prize.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one (1) Winner. Each entrant who has entered the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions during the Competition Period (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered for judging. Entries that do not comply with any of the terms and conditions, may be deemed invalid and a further judging will be conducted in its place. The judging will take place at Seven Network (Operations) Limited, 38-42 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont NSW 2009 on Monday 19 November 2018 from 10:00 AEDT.
5.2 The Winner will be the entry that is judged by the panel of judges as the most creative and original entry received.
5.3 All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the Winner. If the Prize remains unclaimed by the Winner or unallocated or forfeited for any reason, by Wednesday 19 December 2018 at 23:59 AEST, the Prize will be re-allocated to the entrant that has submitted the entry which next best meets the judging criteria (not including the entrant who failed to claim their Prize). This unclaimed Prize determination will take place at Seven Network (Operations) Limited on Thursday 20 December from 10:00 AEST. The Winner will be notified by a phone call from the Promoter on the day of the judging, and a letter advising the Winner of their Prize will also be express posted. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence regarding the result.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd, Genesis Motors Australia and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for Prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Ansible Pty Ltd, Genesis Motors Australia and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur.
