NEW Zealand director Roger Donaldson’s adaptation of the most famous mutiny in the history of the sea, friends unyielding and at times rigid Bligh (Anthony Hopkins) and Christian (Mel Gibson) set sail on the HMS Bounty for the South seas and after a difficult voyage anchor on a Polynesian Island.
When Christian tires of the voyage and falls in love with a local girl, it leads to a mutiny of sailor who choose to stay on the Island paradise.
