GoodGrid Competition - Best Tip or Trick - Terms of Entry
Your participation in this Competition constitutes your deemed acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions:
AusNet Electricity Services Pty Ltd ABN 91 064 651 118 (referred to as ‘AusNet Services’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’) reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Our failure to enforce any of our rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
You may submit unlimited entries for the Competition.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older as at the date of entry and a registered participant of The GoodGrid Program.
To be eligible to win, each entry must include the entrant’s name, email address and telephone number and these details must match the details provided during the GoodGrid registration process. All entries must provide tips or tricks for reducing electricity demand. Each entry must be unique and received via the official competition link:

Entries will be judged against all entrants.The entrant who submits the best tip or trick for reducing electricity demand that otherwise meets the eligibility criteria wins 1 x $100 cinema voucher for a cinema nominated by the winner (Prize).
Entrants must submit an original answer, design or work. All entries become the property of AusNet Services and cannot be returned. Entries that are found to have been derived from the designs or work of a third party will be considered invalid and, if awarded the Prize, the Prize must be returned to us.
We reserve the right in our sole discretion to disqualify any individual we believe has submitted an invalid entry or breached these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. Our legal rights to recover damages or other compensation are reserved.
Our decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final and binding. Chance plays no part in determining any winner. No correspondence will be entered into.
Entries will be judged on Friday 15 February 2019 at our office at Level 31, 2 Southbank Boulevard, Southbank Victoria, Australia.The winner will be notified by email and/or SMS. If the winner does not respond within 14 days of being notified, the winner forfeits the Prize and another winner will be selected. The Prize will be sent to the winner by registered post to an address nominated by the winner within 14 days of receiving the winner’s response.
The name of the winner will be published on the AusNet Services website for a period of at least 28 days after the winner is selected. By submitting an entry, the winner consents to us using their name as part of the Prize winner announcement and for publicity purposes (in any medium and on the internet, including any website hosted by us) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice.Our Privacy Policy and the terms and conditions of the GoodGrid program apply.
We accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize and not specifically included in the Prize.
The Prize is subject to availability and not exchangeable or transferrable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
We accept no responsibility for any delay in providing the Prize or any lost or damaged Prize. No replacement Prize will be issued.
We may substitute the Prize for another prize of the same or greater value than the Prize only if:
the winner agrees to the substitute prize in writing; or
due to reasons outside of our control and reasonable attempts to reach an agreement with the winner are unsuccessful.
We accept no responsibility for any technical glitches or other problems or issues including any network failures, that prevent you from being able to complete or submit an entry into the Competition.
We accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the Prize.
Where the provision of a Prize results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to stated view of the Australian Taxation Office by which where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
In the event of any dispute regarding the conduct, results and any other matter relating to this Competition, our decision is final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
