How to Enter

To enter, submit any creative Redheads item that you think would be a good addition to the exhibition of the art and history of Redheads matches. Ms. Redheads has legions of fans in Australia so dig into those collections! This might be a matchbox cover design, a photograph, street art of Ms. Redheads, a “match-art” sculpture, a Redheads tattoo, or anything else you can think of or create! All entries are welcome.
You can submit your entry by posting a digital photograph of it at the Redheads Facebook page.
Entries may be submitted at facebook.com/redheadsmatches, or by Instagram, with the contest hashtag #RedheadsArtStrikesBack. Multiple distinct entries allowed – please use the hashtag on all entries and post to our page for Facebook entries.
You acknowledge that you abide by the terms and conditions of Facebook, and Instagram, and that you are providing your personal details to Redheads Matches, and not to Facebook, or Instagram.
Entries may not contain, as determined by the sponsor, content that is sexually explicit, violent, derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, profession or age group, which violates any law, or is overtly/aggressively political/partisan, or seeks to publicize a political party, legislative or public policy agenda/issue or which communicates a messages inconsistent with the positive good will to which we wish to associate.
Any entries that are submitted that violate this provision will be deleted at the sponsor’s sole discretion.
The winners agree that the Sponsor may use their name, likeness, image and/or voice, including having photographs/film taken with the winning item, for use in any future promotional, marketing or publicity purpose (the content, format and style of which will be determined by the Sponsor at its sole discretion), in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid to the entrant.
It is a condition of entering this competition that each entrant agrees to assign all their rights, title and interest (including copyright) in their photograph to the Sponsor. However, any physical items (such as match-box sculpture) will remain the property of the entrant. As a condition of entry, you agree to receive future marketing materials and communications from Redheads.
The prizes
Cash prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place submissions, in the amounts of Australian Dollars - $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000 respectively.
The cash prizes will be awarded by a judging panel consisting of Redheads executives with creativity of submission and uniqueness for inclusion in the Redheads Art Strikes Back exhibition as the key judging criteria. Any voting will only be utilized to give the judges of an indication of the popularity of various entries and will not form part of the selection criteria. All decisions of the judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Prizes will be paid to all winners in cash by electronic banking transfer within 30 days of the completion of the contest. If you are under 18 years of age at the completion of the contest, the Sponsor reserves the right to make said payment to your parent, or legal guardian on your behalf.
As a condition of accepting any prize, winners may be required to sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Sponsor in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
The contest Sponsor is Redheads (trading as ST-Group Australia Pty Ltd), Level 1, 35 Dalmore Drive, Scoresby Victoria 3179.
Employees and immediate relatives of the Sponsor are not eligible to participate (parent, sibling, spouse, child) or household member.
Entries will be open from 5:00 pm 28 Feb 2019 and close on at 5 pm 29 March 2019, AEST. Judging of entries will take place in the following weeks, at which time the contest will be completed.
If a virus, bug, technical failure or catastrophic event, or any other unforeseen or unexpected event that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled, affects the fairness and/or integrity of this contest, the sponsor reserves the right to cancel, change or suspend this contest.
This right is reserved whether the event is due to human or technical error. If a solution cannot be found to restore the integrity of the contest, we reserve the right to select winners from among all eligible entries received before we had to cancel, change or suspend the contest.
