Based on the best-selling book by Laura Moriarty, The Chaperone reunites Downton Abbey writer Julian Fellowes with director Michael Engler and actor Elizabeth McGovern.
Taking place against the backdrop of the tumultuous 1920s, The Chaperone s the story of Kansas woman Norma Carlisle (Elizabeth McGovern) whose life is forever changed when she chaperones a beautiful and talented 15-year-old dancer named Louise Brookes (Haley Lu Richardson) to New York for the summer. The Chaperone will be screening in cinemas from 25 April 2019.
