The Promoter reserves the right to alter the Registration Period in its absolute discretion.Contesting will occur at specific times Monday to Friday to be determined by the Promoter. The contesting times will bebetween 5:30am on Monday 29 April, 2019and will close at 3pm Wednesday22ndMay,2019. Each of the days between and including these days are called ‘Contesting Days’. The exact opening and closing times for the Contesting Period may be changed in the absolute discretion of the Promoter.The Event Day will be Friday24thMay2019or such other date as the Promoter determines.ITEM 6: ENTRANT RESTRICTIONSEntry is only available to residents of Australia who are aged 18 or over.No person is eligibleto participate in the Competition or to redeem any prize if they have won a prize valued at $5,000 or more in any competition run by the Promoter within 6 months prior to Event Day.ITEM 7: METHOD OF ENTRYThroughout the Registration Period, listeners will be invited to be the random caller through upon hearing the nominated winning song for their chance to be a finalist.Up to 15 individualswill be selected per contesting spot. Individuals may enter as many competition spots as they wish.All decisions are in the complete discretion of the Promoter and no correspondedwillbe entered into in this regard. The promoter reserves the right to change the contest mechanic. ITEM 8: THE DRAWA winner will be selected at random on Wednesdaythe 22ndMay, 3pm via phone call.The winnermust personally attend the Star1019 office at 37 Sydney Street Mackayat 7:50am on Friday24thMay 2019. The prize draw will take place on that day at 8:15amat Star1019 office, 37 Sydney Street Mackay.Event date, time andlocation may be subject to change at the discretion of the Promoter.The Finalist must be present for the draw with valid identification and cannot send another person in their place. The Promoter may require Finalists to abide by reasonable instructions on the day. Should theFinalist not follow the instructions of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to cease the contesting or remove any personand or finalist will forfeit any claim to any prize.If a Finalist is not at the major draw point thentheyforfeit their opportunity at the major prize.
Theoneperson will have the chance to play for the Major Prize.This onecontestant is the only person who will have the chance to win the major prize.The Contestant will be directed to a designated area at the Star1019 officewhere 100 Artistswill be displayedon the wall numbered 1 to 100. The contestant will have a set time frame to selectONE envelope. This is no longer than 5 minutes. Thepromoter reservesthe right to change this time frame at any point in time during the promotional period.The Contestant can only choose one Artist between 1 and 100.The Artistretrieved willhave a number on the front andreveal if the Contestant has won the major prize or not.Once the Contestant has retrieved their selected envelope, if it does not contain the major prize, the Promoter may announce where the Major Prize was located.That one Contestant will still receive $1,000 in prize money.Any Finalist who demonstrates poor behaviour may be excluded from the competition at the Promoters discretion. In the event of this another Finalist may be selected.Finalists will be required to sign an indemnity form. Failure to do so will result in their disqualification from the promotion.All decisions are solely at the Promoter’s discretion and no correspondence will be entered into.ITEM 9: PRIZE DETAILSOne envelope only will contain the major prize of $20,000, which if won, will be deposited into the winner’s bank account within a 5 week period.$1,000 in prize money will be awarded on the day of the prize draw if the major prize is not selected and deposited into the winner’s bank account within a 5 week period. There will only be one major winner.ITEM 10: OTHER CONDITIONSThe Promoter reserves the right to alter the Contesting Period or to terminate the competition in its entirety at its absolute discretion.In the event of extreme, wet or inclement weather the Promoter reserves the right to postpone the Event at any time. The Promoter will not be liable for any such re-‐scheduling or if any Finalist cannot attend at the rescheduled time. Finalists will not be compensated in any way.By entering this Promotion, all Entrants acknowledge that:Their image and voice may be used for the purposes of marketing and publicity by the Promoter or third-‐partypartners.The Event may be photographed or filmed for the purposes of marketing and publicity. Audio from the Event will also be broadcast on air. The Event may be streamed via the Promoters Facebook Live feature
