Terms and Conditions
Competition being conducted by DarkLab Pty Ltd trading as Dark Mofo.
Prize includes: two (2) return Qantas or Jetstar economy airfares from any Australian capital city to Hobart (approx $2000); shared accommodation for three (3) nights at Hadley’s Orient Hotel ($900); two (2) tickets to each of the following:

+ Night Mass, Dark Mofo’s late-night, multi-precinct art park-meets-club Sat 22 June ($89)

Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or refunded for cash. All air travel provided as part this prize is subject to Qantas’ General Conditions of Carriage.
The prize includes GST and taxes included in the price of the ticket. Unless otherwise stated, the prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, meals, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation, or any other costs of a personal nature. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize-winner and companion. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
Prize travel and accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking and prize travel is subject to availability of prize travel fares at the time of booking. The winner and their companion must travel together on all prize travel and will not accrue Qantas Points on any element of the prize. An upgrade cannot be purchased on airfares with cash or Qantas Points.
Prize travel and accommodation must be booked by 31 May 2019. Prize travel and accommodation must be completed by 24 June 2019. There can be no changes to travel arrangements once tickets have been issued or accommodation bookings once the reservation is confirmed.
Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accept the conditions of use of that prize.
If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or over
Proof of identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Dark Mofo. In the event that the winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
Competition commences Wednesday 15 May 2019. Entries close 11.59pm AEST on Friday 24 May 2019 (Promotion Period).
The winner will be judged on Monday 27 May 2019.
A Dark Mofo representative will judge the competition entries. All decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry received during the Promotion Period will be judged based on the creativity of the response.
The winner will be notified on Tuesday 28 May 2019 via the contact details provided on entry.
Dark Mofo reserves the right to select additional valid reserve entries and record them in order, in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn and the promoter elects to draw upon such reserve entries.
Employees of Dark Mofo, their family members or anyone else connected with the competition, shall not be permitted to enter the competition. This does not apply to Qantas employees with family members, who are eligible to apply.
Dark Mofo is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The winner agrees to the use of their name in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrant will be used solely in accordance with the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988, and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Entrants agree to the use of their entry submission being used in Dark Mofo’s marketing material in relation to the festival including, but not limited to, sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, eDMs, and printed material
Entering the competition is considered as acceptance of these terms and conditions
Dark Mofo reserves the right to change the aforementioned terms and conditions at any time without prior notification. It is the entrant’s responsibility to check these terms and conditions for changes.
