About the Historic Hamlet of Carlsruhe Tour

Enjoy a one hour tour of the Carlsruhe countryside on an authentic 1890s canoe front buggy wagonette, of the ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’ era.

Established only a year after Melbourne in 1837, the hamlet of Carlsruhe is located on the old Cobb & Co Stage Coach route to the Bendigo goldfields. Historic landmarks include a pre-gold rush hotel, school, church and goldfields toll road You will also enjoy views across to Hanging Rock and the Macedon Ranges. The tour departs any day of the week and is for up to six passengers.

To enter, participants must:

    Be 18 years or over and register their details including name, postcode, phone number and email address. Incorrect or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. Photo identification may be requested.
    The competition commences at 9am on Friday 29 March 2019 and closes at midnight on Sunday 9 June 2019.
    The competition is a game of chance, with the winners chosen at random.
    The winner will be notified on Wednesday 12 June 2019 and contacted via phone and/or email.
    All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner fails to respond to Macedon Ranges Shire Council’s email or phone call by 9am (AEST) on Monday 17 June 2019, the promoter will reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
