Terms and Conditions – Facebook Promotion, Win a Birthday Party in Bindi’s Treehouse
1. Entries will be accepted from anywhere around the world, however, travel costs will not be covered by Australia Zoo.
2. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, stepgrandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
4. Australia Zoo reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
5. The promotion commences 9am 1 June 2019 and final entries close at 11.59pm 14 June 2019 AEST. Australia Zoo will select the winner on Facebook within 10 days of receiving the final entries. The winner will be notified within 5 days of selection via Facebook.
6. To enter, the entrants must follow all steps of the competition: a. Take a short video of why you would like to have a birthday party at Bindi’s Treehouse. b. Upload the video to your Facebook page, including the child’s name and age that will have the birthday party. c. SHARE your video to the Australia Zoo Facebook page. d. Wait until June 14 when entries close, and the Australia Zoo panel will select the best video!
7. The individual who posts the video must own the intellectual property.
8. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from Australia Zoo, based on creativity, all decision will be final. The competition is based on the video creativity. Chance plays no part in determining the winners.
9. The prize is non-refundable or redeemable for cash. All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Australia Zoo accepts no responsibly for lost, late or misdirected entries. Entries will be deemed void if forged, inappropriate, offensive of in breach of Facebook Terms and Conditions in anyway.
10. Entrants warrant that:
a. Their entry is original and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any thirds party; and b. Their entry does not contain any content that is sexually explicit, violent or derogatory of any ethnic, race, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, is obscene or offensive or violates any law.
11. By entering this promotion, the participant grants Australia Zoo and its licensees and assignees a nonexclusive license to exercise all rights in perpetuity throughout the world for the entry at any time. This includes, but is not limited to, the right to display the entry or any part of the entry in whole or in part or any photographs taken at the event in any media, including on the Australia Zoo Facebook page. The participant acknowledges that they will not be entitled to any compensation for this continued use.
12. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook. Entrants release Facebook from any and all liability resulting in this competition.
13. The Australia Zoo Children’s Birthday Party must be pre-booked and will be subject to availability. It may not include peak periods, including school holidays.
14. Prize includes: a. A catered birthday party for up to 10 children at Bindi’s Treehouse. b. Admission for up to 10 children (3 - 14 years) and up to 2 adults – Admission is valid only for the day of pre-booked birthday party. c. Animal meet and greet. d. VIP seating at the midday Wildlife Warriors show. e. An autographed gift pack from Bindi Irwin. f. Valid for 12 months from date of winner being notified.
