Grazing Down the Lachlan brings together the local Indigenous Wiradjuri mob, generational farmers, local producers and this year's Grazing Creative Director (and our very own 'The Seasonal Cook' all-star), chef O Tama Carey - to eat and drink at a jammin’ country shindig.
"I'm approaching the food like I would a menu in a restaurant, giving a balance of flavours to create something that's appropriate for the setting, using local produce and native ingredients. This year, I'll also be loosely basing some of the dishes around slightly daggy Australian-a from my youth," says Carey.
Economy flights for two adults from your closest capital city to Sydney, and from there a connecting flight to Parkes, which departs Sydney on Friday 20 September 2019 at 9.00am; connection to Sydney departs Parkes on Sunday 22 September 2019 at 5.40pm (arriving Sydney 6.40.pm).
Two nights’ accommodation in a self-contained cottage at River Gum Cottage, with a queen bed, lounge and dining area for two adults, on the banks of the Lachlan River in Forbes.
