Entry is open to residents of Australia (excluding Tasmania) aged 18 years of age and over.
Entrants must be a Registered Cardholder of the Woolworths Rewards Program to enter. “Registered Cardholder” means a holder of a Woolworths Rewards card issued by the Promoter excluding holders of temporary Woolworths Rewards cards.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its related entities and any agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
How to Enter

“Participating Stores” means any Woolworths supermarket in Australia, Woolworths Metro in Australia and the Woolworths Online store
www.woolworths.com.au, in each case excluding Tasmania.
“Registered Woolworths Rewards Card” means a Woolworths Rewards card issued by the Promoter as part of the Woolworths Rewards program excluding a temporary Woolworths Rewards cards.
Limits on Entry
Multiple entries per person will be accepted. One (1) entry per Participating Product purchased (in accordance with the entry instructions above).
Promotional Period
The promotion commences at the Promotion Start Date and closes at the Promotion End Date.
First Draw
The prize winners will be determined by an automated random draw of all valid entries, commencing at 12:00pm AEDT on 27/11/2019 at Engage Australia Pty Ltd (Level 8, 56 Clarence Street, Sydney NSW 2000).
The first valid entry drawn will win the Grand Prize.
The next valid entry drawn will win the Major Prize.
The next fifty (50) valid entries drawn will each win Minor – Tier 1 Prize.
The next five-hundred (500) valid entries drawn will each win Minor – Tier 2 Prize.
The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
The draw and the announcement of the prize winners will be scrutinised by an independent person (where “independent person has the meaning given in the Lotteries and Art Unions Regulation 2014 (Cth).
Prize Details
There will be a total of Five Hundred and Fifty-Two (552) prizes, consisting of the prizes listed below:
Grand Prize
There will be one (1) grand prize which is a trip for four (4) people to the 2020 Australian Open, consisting of the following:
- Return economy flights for four (4) people from the capital city nearest to winner’s place of residence to Melbourne (only provided if winner resides outside of VIC).
- Two (2) nights twin-share accommodation (2 x rooms) (5-star rating) in Melbourne CBD.
- A hospitality experience valued at $500 (for example lunch at the likes of Rockpool or Nobu). Exact location to be determined by L’Oreal Australia.
- Hit out with Australian tennis player (exact player to be determined by L’Oreal Australia).
- Behind the scenes tour of Rod Laver Arena.
- 4x tickets to one of the final 10 matches of the 2020 Australian Open.
- Return transfers from Melbourne airport to accommodation (only provided if winner does not reside in VIC).
The total RRP value of the grand prize is up to $15,000, depending on exact location of departure. The grand prize does not include spending money or any other inclusions.
Major Prize
There will be one (1) major prize which is a trip for two (2) people to the 2020 Australian Open, consisting of the following:
- Return economy flights for two (2) people from the capital city nearest to winner’s place of residence to Melbourne are included (only provided if winner resides outside of VIC)
- Two (2) nights twin-share accommodation (5-star rating) in Melbourne CBD

The total RRP value of the major prize is up to $2,500, depending on exact location of departure. The major prize does not include spending money or any other inclusions.
Minor – Tier 1 Prizes
There will be fifty (50) Minor Prize – Tier 1 prizes which is a general admission double pass to the 2020 Australian Open, valued at $130
The total RRP value of all Minor Prizes – Tier 1 is $6,500.
The Minor Prize – Tier 1 prizes do not include transport, flights, accommodation, spending money or any other inclusions.
Minor – Tier 2 Prizes
There will be five-hundred (500) Minor Prize – Tier 2 prizes which is a Garnier Product Pack valued at $75.32. The Garnier Product Pack includes the following:
- Garnier Fructis Shampoo RRP $6.99
- Garnier Fructis Conditioner RRP $6.99
- Garnier Fructis Hair Food RRP $11.95
- Garnier Micellar Water RRP $13.99

The total RRP value of all Minor Prizes – Tier 2 is $37,660.
Total Prize Pool
Total RRP value of all the prizes is up to $61,600.
All prize values are correct as at the Prize Value Reference Date and are in Australian Dollars, but to the extent permitted by law, no responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for any variation in the value of the prize after that time.
Prize Limitations
Grand and Major Prizes:
- The winner must be able to travel on the date/s specified by L’Oréal Australia to coincide with the 2020 Australian Open (taking place 20 January - 2 February 2020).
- Winners must be able to attend the match for which they are provided tickets.
- The hospitality experience (where applicable) must be used on the dates on which the winner is in Melbourne.
- All travel is subject to availability at all times and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with accommodation partner.
- Each element of a Major Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions applicable to that prize element and the applicable third party supplier of that prize element.
- Prize winners are responsible for any amendments fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed.
Minor Prize – Tier 1:
- The winners of general admission double passes must be able to attend on the date specified on the tickets they receive, no specific dates can be requested and there is no compensation prize if the winner cannot attend on the date the tickets are provided for. Prize does not include food, beverage, flights or accommodation. Winner is expected to make their own way to the event and return.
- Prizes are not transferable for alternate events or dates.
- The prize winner has the option to nominate someone to receive the prize on their behalf, if they so happen to be unavailable. However, the prize winner must communicate this to the Promoter within two (2) days of being notified of winning.
All tickets/pass prizes
All Australian Open tickets are issued subject to the Australian Open Ticket Conditions of Sale and Entry 2020. All Australian Open hospitality products, including dining and/or private space elements, are provided subject to the Australian Open Hospitality Conditions 2020.
Notification of Winners
Winners of all prizes will be notified in writing by email within 2 business days of the First Draw Date or Second Draw Date (as applicable).
The Grand prize winner, the Major prize winner and the Minor – Tier 1 winners will be contacted by email and subsequent phone call to arrange fulfilment of the prizes, at which point the winners will have to accept the prize and agree for their details to be passed on to the supplier (L’Oreal), so L’Oreal can facilitate prize fulfilment for all winners.
Prize winners will all be required to provide their preferred delivery address or email address for receipt of their prize.

Second Draw (for Major, Grand, and Minor – Tier 1 Prizes)
If any Major, Grand, or Minor - Tier 1 Prize is unclaimed by the Second Draw Date for those prizes (including because no valid phone number, email or delivery address is listed on the winner’s Woolworths Rewards account, if the Winner cannot provide suitable proof of purchase, age or identify, or the winner has not subsequently notified the Promoter of their preferred delivery or email address for their prize to be delivered to), a second chance draw will be held on the Second Draw Date for those prizes at the same place and in the same circumstances as the first draw in order to distribute any Major, Grand or Minor -Tier 1 unclaimed prizes.
Winners will be notified in writing by email within 2 business days of the Second Draw Date for Major, Grand and Minor – Tier 1 prizes.

FURTHER DETAILS
Unless expressly stated otherwise in the Key Terms, all ancillary costs including but not limited to insurance, taxes (excluding GST), meals, drinks, transport, transfers, spending money, fuel, oil and services costs, safety gear to comply with state and territory regulations, in-room charges, items of a personal nature, and any and all other expenses incurred as a consequence of receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. During the entire duration of any travel prize, a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age. Travel itinerary for any travel prize is to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form part of a travel prize. Prizes are subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The winner of any travel prize may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in. Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason a winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take a prize (or an element of a prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
Ticket prizes are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any winner (and/or his/her companion/s) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. In particular, prizes may not, without the prior consent of the Promoter and any applicable third party supplier of the prize (Supplier), be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a prize is sold or used in breach of this condition, the Promoter or the Supplier may, at their absolute discretion, withdraw the prize(s). Where a prize has been withdrawn in accordance with this clause, no refund, substitute or compensation will be offered and if the prize is a ticket, the winner and any person has purchased or otherwise bears that ticket will be refused entry.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, theft or destruction, any cause beyond the Promoter’s control, or unauthorised access to or alteration of the promotion. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion. Further, the Promoter at its sole discretion may recommence this promotion under the same conditions.
If any prize (or part of any prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize (or that part of the prize) to another prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various authorities.
All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winners. If a winner does not claim their prize by the relevant Second Draw Date, their entry will be deemed invalid and their prize forfeited and the Promoter may conduct the relevant Second Draw, subject to relevant regulatory authority instructions.
If an entrant’s contact details change at any time between the date which they enter the promotion and the Second Draw Date, that entrant must notify the Promoter of their correct contact details immediately.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, is in breach of these conditions, provides entries that are offensive or otherwise inappropriate in the sole opinion of the Promoter, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion, or who has engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
If consumers are required to purchase a product to enter, then it is a condition of the prize being awarded to the winner that the winner retain a clear copy of their original receipt and provide it to the Promoter as proof of a valid purchase to enter this promotion.
The Promoter and L’Oréal Australia shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize or in relation to the promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Any prize supplied by a third party supplier is subject to the terms and conditions of that third party supplier. The Promoter and L’Oréal Australia re not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the conduct of any third party supplier or otherwise as a result of the winner accepting and/or using a prize (even if caused by negligence), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
If in the conduct of this promotion, the Promoter and L’Oréal Australia is liable for a breach of any guarantee, warranty, condition or other term that applies under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or is implied by any other commonwealth, state or territory law that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter's and L’Oréal Australia’s liability under that legislation is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the cost of replacement of any benefit or prize won.
Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage, loss or delay in transit to the prize.
Before the prize is awarded, the winner and any other person(s) sharing the prize with the winner may be required to sign an agreement to release the Promoter from any liability arising from the use or participation in the prize.
Entrants consent to the Promoter and L’Oréal Australia using their name, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter or L’Oréal Australia.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
Entries remain the property of the Promoter. Details from entries, or if an entrant’s Woolworths Rewards card was scanned or used as part of a condition of entry, the personal information of such entrant, will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, the Promoter’s related bodies corporate, agencies and contractors (including call centres, advertising agencies and direct mail houses) for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes, public statements and advertisements surrounding this promotion and for the purposes of organising/delivering any prize (e.g. details may be sent to L’Oréal Australia for this purpose). For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter will only publish the winner’s surname, first initial and state of residence. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
