Conditions of Entry
1. Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents over the age of 18.
3. The Promoter is Flight Centre Travel Group ABN 25 003 377 188. Employees of Flight Centre
Travel Group Limited and their immediate families are not permitted to enter.
Duration of the Promotion
4. The promotion will commence at 12:01am (AEDT) on 7 Feb 2020.
5. The promotion will close at 5:00pm (AEDT) on 13 Feb 2020.
How to Enter
6. To qualify for the draw, persons must visit
https://www.flightcentre.com.au/competitions and in
25 words or less, tell us why a romantic getaway to Hawaii would be the perfect gift this Valentine's
Day and complete the entry form. The most creative answer will be selected at 10am AEDT on 14
Feb 2020 and the winning couple will be notified by 12pm AEDT the same day.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries delayed, misdirected or undelivered. Incomplete
entries will be disqualified. The Promoter shall not be responsible for technical errors in
telecommunications networks, Internet access or otherwise preventing entry to any competition.
The Promoter reserves the right to terminate the competition and withhold the prizes in the event that,
in the Promoter's opinion, there are insufficient entries for the Promoter to be able to select prize
winner or where, in the Promoter’s opinion, improper conduct by an entrant (or any number of them)
has rendered the competition unfair to all entrants. The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to any
aspect of the competition, including the determination of any prize winners. No correspondence will be
entered into.
Details of Prizes
The prize is:
Return Extra Comfort airfares for two flying Hawaiian Airlines for 2 adults, including 2 x 23kgs of
luggage, meals and entertainment, valid for travel departing on 16 Feb 2020 from Sydney. 4 nights
accommodation at Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger with return airport transfers and 1 x $500USD
Travel Money Oz Currency Pass.
Terms & conditions of Prize
A. Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, non-upgradeable and
non-changeable.
B. Airfare is valid for travel on Hawaiian Airlines in Extra Comfort seating. Extra Comfort seating
subject to availability at time of booking.
C. Winner needs to be at least 18yrs of age, hold a valid passport and have obtained an ESTA
visa waiver prior to travel.
D. The prize winner and their partner must travel together and share the same itinerary.
E. Prize is valid for travel from Sydney to Honolulu on 16 Feb 2020, returning from Honolulu to
Sydney on 20 Feb 2020.
F. Prize includes one (1) x Travel Money Oz Currency Pass loaded with $500 USD (United
States Dollar). The prize winner must be over the age of 18 and have a valid Passport or
Driver’s License for proof of ID. The Travel Money Oz Currency Pass Instant Issue card that
will be issued in a Flight Centre store prior to departure. Offer is not redeemable for foreign
currency. Mastercard Prepaid Management Services Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 47 145 452 044,
AFSL 386 837) arranges for the issue of Travel Money Oz Currency Pass in conjunction with
the issuer, Heritage Bank Limited (ABN 32 087 652 024, AFSL 240 984). You should consider

www.travelmoneyoz.com before deciding to acquire the product. Any advice does not take
into account your personal needs, financial circumstances or objectives and you should

G. Prize winner is responsible for making their own way to and from Sydney airport.
H. Any excess baggage and incidental items purchased on board will be the cost of the prize
winner.
I. Visitors to the USA will need to apply for a Visa Waiver via the Electronic System for Travel
Authorization (ESTA) prior to travelling to the United States. A fee will apply to new ESTA
applications and renewals payable by credit or debit card at
https://esta.cbp.dhs.govJ. Additional expenses such as meals, insurance, any tours or activities during free time and
items of a personal nature, are at passengers’ expense.
K. Once booked, cancellation and change fees may apply if date changes are made.
L. Normal booking conditions apply.
M. Prize is valid for 2 adults travelling.
Total Prize Value: $5200
*Total estimated prize value may fluctuate due to time of year trip is taken, in relation to high and low
seasons. The value of this prize, itinerary and inclusions are correct at time of printing and subject to
change at any time. Any change to the prize between the publishing date and the date the prize is
claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter(s). The value of the prize is correct as at time of
posting.
If the Promoter is unable to provide the prize winner with the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to
supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value.
If the prize winner does not accept any element of the prize (for reasons other than the prize winner
and their partner being unable and/or unavailable to travel to Hawaii), the Promoter is not obliged to
provide the prize winner with a substitute prize.
Prize Draw
7. On 14 Feb 2020 at 10am AEDT, at Flight Centre Travel Group offices, situated at 60 Miller Street,
North Sydney, NSW, 2060, all entries entered via
www.flightcentre.com.au/competitions will be
exported to an excel spreadsheet and one couple will be selected based on who Flight Centre deems
to have the most creative entry.
8. The winning couple must be available to depart on 16 February 2020.
Notification of Winner
10. The prize winner will be notified via a phone call and in writing via email within 48 hours of the
draw.
11. The prize winner’s details will be published on the competition webpage on the 14 Feb 2020 at
www.flightcentre.com.au/competitions/valentines-day12. All prizes will be e-mailed out to the prize winner no later than 5pm AEDT on 14 Feb 2020.
No Liability
13. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
(i) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected
or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, or made other than as directed in the
entry instructions;
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or
lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on
the Internet or at any Website;
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
(vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
(vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to,
consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by
the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply,
of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons
accompanying a winner; or
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's
computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
14. The Promoter will not be liable for personal injury suffered as a result of prize winnings. The
prize winner(s) and his or her guests (if any), must sign and return any liability release and indemnity
provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors as a condition of a prize being awarded. Failure to
return the signed releases and indemnities will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and
the selection of another winner.
15. These conditions do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have,
which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted
by law, any liability of the Promoter or its servant or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to
the payment of the cost of having the prize supplied again.
Unclaimed Prize Draw
16. If the prize winner cannot be notified or if the prize is not claimed/winner can’t travel (“the
unclaimed prize”), an unclaimed prize draw for the unclaimed prizes will be conducted on 15 Feb
2020 at 10am(AEDT) at Flight Centre Travel Group offices, situated at 60 Miller Street, North Sydney,
NSW 2060.
17. Should an unclaimed prize draw be necessary, prize winner of the unclaimed prize draw will be
notified by telephone and email detailing their prize.
18. Any unclaimed prizes will be emailed out to the winner no later than 5pm on 15 Feb 2020.
19. In the event of an unclaimed prize draw for this promotion the results will be published on 15 Feb
2020 on the competition webpage at
www.flightcentre.com.au/competitionsGeneral
20. The prize winner consent to the use of their name, suburb of residence and image for
promotional and marketing purposes and agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as
requested by the Promoter.
21. If there is an event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control which prevents or hinders the
conduct of the promotion or the Promoter’s ability to deliver the prize to the winner, then the Promoter
subject to regulatory authority approval may in its sole discretion cancel the promotion. Further the
Promoter may at its sole discretion recommence the promotion under the same conditions
22. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
23. The Promoter may at its discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who fails to comply
with these conditions of entry.
24. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
25. All entrants who submit any entry to the Promoter: (a) grant the Promoter and its licensees and
assignees a non-exclusive licence to exercise all rights in perpetuity throughout the world in the entry
material and all other material provided by the entrant to the Promoter pursuant to this promotion at
any time; and (b) represent and warrant that the exercise of the rights granted to the Promoter in
these terms and conditions will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and (c) indemnify the
Promoter against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of the foregoing representation and
warranty.
By entering this competition entrants agree to allow the Promoter to repost their entry/submission on
the Promoter’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest accounts,
the Promoter’s website and blog within the Promoter’s electronic direct mail (eDM) communication
pieces.

entrants will be collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this competition and its
winner and may be used to market its services to the entrants. The personal information of the
entrants will be held and used in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy which is available at
www.flightcentre.com.au. The personal information of winner may be provided to others assisting,
including prize suppliers and deliverers, and to authorities that regulate this competition. In the event
