As you may know, Chester Bennington’s pre-Linkin Park days were shared with a band called Grey Daze, which was formed back in 1992. The Phoenix-based band went on to independently release two works of art: Wake Me (1994) and No Sun Today (1996). Grey Daze peacefully parted ways in 1998, with Chester serendipitously auditioning for the Los Angeles band Xero, who later became Linkin Park.
In 2017, Chester announced Grey Daze’s reunion, which would see the band re-working and re-recording a collection of songs they had started two decades earlier. The band was never able to reunite because of Chester's untimely passing in July 2017 but with the blessing of Chester’s widow, Talinda, and his family, Chester's former Grey Daze members regrouped to see his dream through. Amends represents an important yet unheard chapter – the origin story of one of modern rock’s most recognizable voices – and also a full circle moment among friends. Grey Daze collectively is Chester Bennington (vocals), Sean Dowdell (drums), Mace Beyers (bass) and Cristin Davis (guitar).

General Information: The Revolver: Grey Daze Mega-Bundle Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Revolver ("Sponsor"). The Sweepstakes begins June 15th, 2020 at 11:00AM Pacific Time (“PDT”) and ends July 12th, 2020 at 11:59pm PST (“SweepstakesPeriod”).
To Enter: There is one (1) way to enter for a chance to win prizes in the Sweepstakes. Entrants must supply their full name, email address, zip code and join the Grey Daze email newsletter. Entrants may also share the contest, or join additional Sponsor email lists and take other actions to earn bonus entries, but this is not required to enter. Any attempt by any person to enter the Sweepstakes more than the permitted number of times (as described above) by using multiple/different Twitter and/or email accounts, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that person’s entries and that person may be disqualified, at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and may result in disqualification. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which may be disqualified. Eligibility: Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, of the United Kingdom, of The European Union, of Puerto Rico, of the Philippines, of Japan, of Argentina, of Brazil, of Chile, of Columbia, of India, of Peru,
the Commonwealth of Australia, of New Zealand of all provinces and territories in Canada (excluding residents of Quebec), and of the United States of Mexico who are the age of majority or older (eighteen (18) years of age in most jurisdictions, 19 years or older in AL and NE; 21 years or older in MS) as of the date of entry, subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Winner Selection and Notification: One (1) winner will be selected by random drawing on or about July 13th, 2020 from all eligible entries received by Sponsor during the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor’s decisions are final in all respects. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Potential winner will be notified by Sponsor through email (depending on the method of entry) on or about July 13th, 2020. Return of prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted during one (1) day from the date of the first attempt to contact potential winner, or if potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, an alternate winner may be selected.
Description of Prize(s) and Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): One (1) Grey Daze 'Amends' Picture Disk, one (1) 'Amends' Deluxe Edition (LP/CD), one (1) Grey Daze Zip Up Hoodie, one (1) Grey Daze Beanie and one (1) one-year subscription to Revolver magazine. No cash or Prize substitution is allowed. Prize is not transferable. Approximate retail value of bundle and magazine subscription is $300.00 USD.
