Diana Alpine Lodge is perfectly positioned within the Falls Creek alpine village, and they welcome all cyclists with open arms. The lodge has the ideal set up for any visiting mountain biker or road cyclist, with a wash bay area and secure bike storage. The breakfasts will fuel you up for a full day of riding, and we hear the happy hour should not be missed.
With a 2 night stay to win, you can ride in the golden hour one day and soak up the happy hour the next–let us know which one you think is better. The accommodation in this prize is 2 nights in a 4-person room, with breakfasts and 2-course dinners included for all four people.
A local's guide to Falls Creek
But what about the riding? Blue Dirt have you hooked up, with weekend shuttles for 4 people and weekend bike rental for 4 people as well, so you don't even need to bring your own bike! This could be the perfect opportunity to take somefriends along who aren't quite convinced that they shouldbe getting a nice new mountain bike. Take them to Falls Creek, wine and dine them at the Diana Alpine Lodge and hook them up with a hire bike and shuttles from Blue Dirt, and we reckon they'll beriding buddies for life.
Blue Dirt's shuttles run from the Village Hub Cafe in the main carpark, taking you to The Summit, and picking you up from the bottom of Flowtown, letting you ride the Falls Creek resort trails inbetween.
