Win a seven (7) night Queensland holiday including return flights plus accommodation, activities and more for two (2) people in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast – Competition dates 15 February – 7 March 2021.
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed to be acceptance of conditions. Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd, of Level 2, 509 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, Victoria 3004, ABN: 84 063 430 848 is the Promoter (“Promoter”) and reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time without notice.
The REFERRAL Contest ("Contest") is open to legal residents of Australia, who have reached 18 years of age (or in the event that a winner is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded if the consent of his or her legal guardian is first given and obtained) as of the beginning of the Contest Period, and who are not an employee of or domiciled with an employee of the Promoter or its affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies. No purchase is necessary and multiple entries are valid and permitted per entrant. The Contest is subject in all instances to compliance with applicable law.
The Contest Period runs from Monday 15 February 2021 at 9:00am AEDT to Sunday 7 March 2021 at 23:59 AEDT ("Contest Closing Date").
Entrants who receive a Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd email invitation are herein referred to as the ‘Initial Entrant’. Entrants who are invited by the Initial Entrant are herein referred to as the ‘Invited Friend’. To earn one (1) entry in the Contest, the Initial Entrant and the Invited Friend (collectively referred to as a ‘Team’) must submit their respective form as instructed, for the Team to earn one (1) entry.
The Initial Entrant, having received the Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd email invitation, must complete all mandatory fields of the entry form, and submit as instructed before the Contest Closing Date. Upon successful submission of the entry form, he/she will receive a unique link that must be sent to the Invited Friend being invited to the Team.
The Invited Friend, having received the invitation to the Team, must ensure he/she fully completes all mandatory fields of the entry form and submits as instructed before the Contest Closing Date. Upon successful submission of the entry form and having teamed up with the Initial Entrant, he/she will receive a unique link giving them the opportunity to become the Initial Entrant by sending another Invited Friend an invitation to join a new Team.
The Initial Entrant and his/her Invited Friend will only be allowed to team up once. Any attempt or suspected attempt to team up more than once with the same person by using multiple email addresses or pen names, or any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or any entry methods not authorized by these rules, shall be deemed as tampering and will void all Entries. All Entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, contain an erroneous email address or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Promoter.
Any contact details entered incorrectly on the website shall be deemed invalid.

If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Entrants who provide incorrect or fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to request at its sole discretion, appropriate photo identification or other documentation in order to confirm the entrant’s eligibility to enter and claim the prize, before issuing the prize. If the documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter or its nominated agent, or the identity of the entrant has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s satisfaction, then that entrant will be deemed invalid.
Following the conclusion of the Contest, Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd will select at random, one (1) entrant from a qualified Team. In the event that the winner is unable to fulfil the prize, a substitute may be nominated to take the place of the winner. This will be subject to the approval of Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd and the winner. The draw will take place at the offices of Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd, Level 2, 509 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, Victoria on Tuesday 16 March, 2021 at midday AEDT. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Three attempts will be made to contact the prize winner prior to the redraw. In the event of the prize being unclaimed by Monday 14 June 2021 at midnight AEST, further draw/s will take place to determine replacement winner. The draw will take place at the offices of Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd on Tuesday 15 June 2021 at midday AEST. The replacement winner will be notified by email on the same day. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses become the responsibility of the winner.
The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or otherwise redeemable for cash. The odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. Upon acceptance of the prize, the winner agrees to provide reasonable cooperation to allow Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd to use their name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in connection with this Contest, including but not limited to, publication of their name and photograph on the Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd websites.
It is the winner’s and their companion’s personal responsibility to ensure that they have valid documentation, including but not limited to, valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the winner and their companion.
Any costs in excess of the value of the Prize are the responsibility of the winner. Excess amounts will be paid by the winner in full at the time of booking flights prior to tickets being issued.
The winner and their companion are responsible for all other expenses including spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), laundry charges, activities (unless specified), incidentals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The entrant releases from and indemnifies the Promoter against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of the entrant's participation in the Promotion, or breach of these terms and conditions, including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website are the entrant’s responsibility and are dependent on the Internet service provider used.
This Contest may be promoted through third party websites, like Facebook. Entrants must at all times comply with the terms of service for those third-party websites when using them to participate in this Contest. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, or any other technical failures, including but not limited to, any injury or damage to participants’ or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this competition. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, postpone, or amend this competition.
The Promoter as well as its associated agencies and companies are not liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with the prize or use of the prize. This excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, and/or if necessary, to provide an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as an original prize or prizes, subject to any written directions under applicable State or Territory legislation.
If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, that part shall be severed from the remainder of the provisions and the validity of the other provisions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Australia and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
If for any reason the prize, or any element of the prize, becomes unavailable, which is out of the Promoter’s control then a similar element to equal value may be awarded in lieu subject to the Relevant State Authorities.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.
All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd database, NOT time of transmission by the entrant.
The Promoter will not accept responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take the prize, or an element of the prize, at the time stipulated by the Promoter then the prize, or that element of the prize, will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.
Employees, the officers, and the management of Webjet Pty Ltd (and their immediate families) and the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, step-sister or first cousin.
Prize terms:
The prize must be booked at a minimum of four (4) weeks prior to the travel date. The prize must be utilised no later than 31 March 2022. The prize is not available during peak times such as public holidays and school holidays and cannot be changed once the booking has been made.

Flight prize:
Two (2) return economy flights to Brisbane, departing from either Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Hobart, Canberra, or Darwin valued at up to $1,600 .
If prize winner does not reside within one of the cities listed above, transport to a main city airport will be at the prize winner’s own expense.
Total prize value of $6,800
Valid only for fares sold in Australia.
Change fees may be applied for changes made after ticketing. Once flights have been booked and issued (including e-tickets), the winner is responsible for any costs associated with subsequent itinerary changes, cancellations, amendments, or other administration charges.
Prize travel is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Alternative operators may be used at the time of booking.
Prize travel will not accrue any frequent flyer points.
Upgrades cannot be purchased on airfares with cash or frequent flyer points.
Any residual amount on the Prizewinner Voucher will be forfeited if not fully redeemed.
The winner and any travelling companions are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents (e.g., passport, visa) and complying with all health or other governmental regulations.
The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize.
Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable nor redeemable for cash or other goods or services. If lost or misplaced, it is not replaceable. If the prize is not utilised as stated it will be forfeited. Webjet Marketing Pty Ltd and the supporting partners of this competition, its related bodies corporate, their officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect, and consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the promotion of this competition or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
