Something I can't see covered in the terms and conditions?  Can you win more than won auction providing you have enough top dog dollars to cover all wins?

I notice gottawin that someone has won twice already. So I guess you can if you have enough auction dollars.

Has anyone had any luck with this at all? I'm wondering just how many auction dollars people have!

I am wondering just how many dollars people have too!!

I have bid on most items and had no luck.  I bid between $500,000 and $850,000 per item.

I won the washing machine last night on a big of $1,000,000 (yes 1 million dollars!!) - and that was a "anger" bid as I was getting so frustrated at why I could not win anything!! Luckily I need a new one.

I have about $500,000 left.

I think after Sunday when there are no longer dollars available in the paper the bids might drop.  For the average person just collecting out of their daily paper they would have no chance at getting anything.

I would really like to know how much the car goes for on Saturday if I can't even get a $250 Coles Myer gift card for $850,000!

I reckon this is a SCAM!

Especially as it is set up Dutch Auction style where you can't even see what the winning bid is! How on earth are you supposed to compete with only 3 bids!

I remember they had this same type of thing back awhile ago and you had to go to Pacific fair to bid ,by the time it got to the car nobody had any auction dollars left and the car went for a ridiculous amount of about $20,000

I can't believe how naive I've been, begging relatives for their coupons, getting some from work, even buying 5 (yes FIVE) extra Sunday Mails the other week to take my stash to ....  wait for it ..... $42,000!!  When people are bidding in the millions, the average person has absoltuely no hope.  I won't be caught again anyway.  Very disappointing really.

This competition is the biggest scam ever!!! One person has won 8 auction items including the Disneyland holiday. I legitimately collected nearly $500 000 and cannot win a thing! Tell me how you could possibly win 8 auctions - the greedy thing! I think it's incredibly selfish to take so many prizes. I hope that when they verify their bid, that they lose out cause they need to be able to prove they bought that many newspapers. I have written to the Courier Mail using the Contact Us tab on the auction site and expressed my anger and disappoinment for running such an unfair competition. Judging by the reply I got, I am not the only person complaining.

thats really sad that someone would do that and not give others a chance , I didn,t even worry about it because I knew I could never get enough dollars , maybe hold onto them until the last moment when they might have none left

Yes I'm angry too!! Bought 5 extra papers each time and ended up with $113,000 and have had no luck at all. I had this feeling that people out there are cheating somehow. How could you possibly end up with millions without doing something wrong? Just dissapointed I bought so many papers and won't end up with a thing, when others with more than one, it's not right at all.

so ... this is a source of frustration for everyone .. as with all hot topics, it's running the risk of alienating people, so i'd just ask that you direct your frustrations to the courier mail?  thanks everyone

Please remember people, on this forum, naming people - even with their comping names - and accusing them of cheating will not be tolerated. I've locked the thread now to prevent further posts being removed.

As Quickie has previously suggested, please refer your complaints to the promoter of the competition. :)

Cheers
