Title: 1/5 Dr Who: Kamelion Tales Box Sets [subscribers - answer supplied] Post by: hanky_panky on Saturday 14 August 2010, 03:08:00 am http://www.memorabletv.com/2010/08/dr-who-kamelion-tales.html (http://www.memorabletv.com/2010/08/dr-who-kamelion.jpg) GIVEAWAY BBC DVD / Region 4 / Released August 2010 Classic fifth doctor action with what is rightly regarded as two of his best stories arrives on DVD this month with the three disc box set Kamelion Tales. Thanks to the good folk at BBC DVD we have five copies for you to get your hands on! The set features not only The King's Demons and Planet of Fire but also a special edition of Planet of Fire too. The King's Demons sees the Doctor landing in the middle of 13th century England where Sir Ranulph Fitzwilliam is being visited by King John only to find that the King is a little too interested in his "blue engine". Meanwhile in Planet of Fire the whole Doctor Who crew wangled themselves a trip to the sun drenched isle of Lanzarote (offering up the perfect excuse for the much fancied Peri to wander about the place in a barely there bikini!) when the Doctor is drawn to the island by a strange signal being beamed from an object discovered by Peri. The object carries clear links to the home planet of fellow companion Turlough but it seems the answer lies on the volcanic planet of Sarn. As always the sets are jam packed full of extras featuring everything from indepth documentaries, behind the scenes featurettes, extensive production notes, alternate, extra and deleted scenes and the always fabulous cuttings from the radio times to name just a few. Our competition runs until September 1, 2010. To be in with a chance to win one of the dvds all you have to do is tell us who was the second person to play The Master? Also don't forget about our rather splendid daily newsletter. If you haven't signed up for this yet then what are you waiting for, a daily hit of all the latest stories, comps, reviews, features and news happening in the world of Memorable TV. Entries must be sent to competition@memorabletv.com and must be titled "Dr Who: Kamelion". Good Luck! He remained until Doctor Who's cancellation in 1989. In 1996, the Master was played briefly by Gordon Tipple, then by Eric Roberts in the TV movie. In the revived series, Derek Jacobi provided the character's re-introduction before handing over to John Simm, who portrayed the Master in the climax of the 2007 series and in the 2009 serial The End of Time, with William Hughes also portraying the Master at the age of 8.[3]

Although Peter and Geoffrey both played the same incarnation, Peter in the Deadly Assassin and Geoffrey in the Keeper of Traken, i'm not sure either of them really count as having played the Master for the purpose of this competition. There are really two choices for this answer - Peter Pratt or Anthony Ainley - i personally think they are looking for the answer of Anthony Ainley. |
