Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. 2. The Promoter is Hachette Australia, Level 17, 207 Kent St, Sydney, NSW, 2000. 3. The promotion (“Competition Period”) commences on Thursday, 29 July 2010 and closes at midnight (12:00am) on Sunday, 31 October 2010. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries. 4. Entry is open to Australian residents only. 5. All entrants must be over the age of 18. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of age. 6. Hachette Australia and Peter Lehmann Wine staff, associated companies, customers and their immediate families are not permitted to enter this competition. 7. To enter, participants must purchase a specially stickered copy of the book Bad Boy by Peter Robinson, visit http://www.hachette.com.au , click on the promotional link, complete the online entry form (including contact details, name of the book purchased and barcode number from the back of the book), and submit in 25 words or less the answer to "Why would you like to win the wine Inspector Banks drinks?”. Alternatively, participants may send their entry to: Bad Boy Wine Giveaway, c/o Hachette Australia, Level 17, 207 Kent St, Sydney NSW 2000. Entries must include the entrant’s full name, street address (including postcode), daytime telephone number, name of the book purchased and barcode number from the back of the book. 8. Entrants may enter one (1) time only per book purchased and must retain their original purchase receipt(s) and/or a copy of the original receipt as proof of purchase, and if requested, must produce the receipt in order to claim a prize. 9. All entries will be read and the most original and creative responses will be selected. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 10. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. 11. There will be 10 winners chosen (3 from NSW/ACT, 2 each from QLD and VIC, and 1 each from SA/NT, WA and TAS). Each winner will receive a dozen (12) bottles of Peter Lehmann mixed reds, valued at $216 per dozen. 12. From the 10 winning state entries, the best entry will be chosen, and the winner will receive a magnum (1.5L bottle) of Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz, signed by both Peter Lehmann (winemaker) and Peter Robinson (author), valued at $180. 13. The total prize pool is $2340. Prizes can be transferred but cannot be redeemed for cash. Any transfer of the Prize is subject to agreement by the Promoter in writing at its sole discretion. If the Prize is transferred, it is subject to the transferee being bound by these terms and conditions as they apply to the Prize Winner. 14. Alcohol will not form part of the prize in the Northern Territory. In the event that a winner is a resident of the Northern Territory, the winner will be awarded with a selection of books (to be chosen by the Promoter) of equal value to the alcohol prize, in lieu of the alcohol prize. 15. The winners will be notified by telephone to arrange delivery of their prize. 16. All Prize values and components of Prize values were correct at time of printing. Prize values are reflective of the Recommended Retail Price and are in Australian Dollars. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in Prize value. 17. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Competition Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. 18. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause. 19.
