MAJOR PRIZES

The entrants judged to be the most creative in their answer to the question “Why should you win?” shall win a trip for four (4) people to the 2010 Toyota AFL Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday 25th September OR win a trip for four (4) people to the 2010 Telstra NRL Grand Final at ANZ Stadium Sydney on Saturday October 3rd, depending on the prize preference selected on the official online entry form.

Each prize is valued at up to AUD$6,900 depending on point of departure, including return economy airfares from the winner’s nearest capital city, two (2) nights triple-share accommodation at the Medina on Flinders, Melbourne or the Vibe Hotel, Sydney, Grand Final tickets for four (4) people, pre-match function/lunch, pre- and post-match limosine transfers, and souvenirs.

HOW TO ENTER

They must nominate which of the Grand Finals they wish to attend and explain in 25 words or less why they should win.

Entrants must use information on their original store purchase receipt and retain it as proof of purchase, as they must present the receipt before the prize is awarded.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. 2. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, participating outlets and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible. 3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. 4. The promoter shall not accept responsibility for any inability on the part of the entrant to sucessfully access and use the online entry process. 5. Multiple entries accepted, but each entry requires a separate transaction, original purchase receipt and must be entered separately on the online “Win the Ultimate Grand Final Experience” entry form. 6. Entrants must retain their original product purchase receipt/s for all entries submitted for verification and guarantee purposes. 7. Promotion commences 1/7/10. Product must be purchased by 5pm AEST on 7/9/10. Entries close 5:00pm AEST on 14/9/10. All entries will be separated according to prize preference as indicated during the entry process and entered into the appropriate draw. The judging will take place at ‘Hills Industries Limited’, 5 Butler Boulevard, Adelaide Airport, South Australia on 14/9/10, concluding at 2:00pm AEST. Winners will be notified by mail and the major prize winner will be published in The Australian on 22/9/10. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Major Prizes: The first valid entry drawn from valid entries that selected “2010 Toyota AFL Grand Final” on the online entry form will win a trip for four (4) people to Melbourne valued at up to AUD$6,900 depending on point of departure, including return economy airfares from winner’s nearest capital city, two (2) nights accommodation at the Medina on Flinders, Grand Final tickets for four (4) people, pre-match function/lunch, pre- and post-match limosine transfers, and souvenir team jerseys. The first valid entry drawn from values entries that selected “2010 Telstra NRL Grand Final” on the entry form will win a trip for four (4) people to Sydney valued at up to AUD$6,900 depending on point of departure, including return economy airfares from winner’s nearest capital city, two (2) nights accommodation at the Vibe Hotel, Grand Final tickets for four (4) people, pre-match function/lunch, pre- and post-match limosine transfers, and souvenir team jerseys. Additional spending money, meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, transport to and from departure point, transfers and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner. The Prizes must be taken at the time of the respective Grand Final and are subject to booking and flight availability. All prize values are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).  
9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. 10. If the winner of a major prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian. 11. The Promoter may conduct such further judging at the same place as the original draw as are necessary on 24/9/10 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date, subject however to any written directions given under Reg 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 1993 (SA). In the event of a winner of a major prize, their name will be published in The Australian on 6/10/10. 12. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a major prize winner does not take an element of their prize at the time stipulated by the Promoters, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the major prize winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. 13. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is a condition of accepting the major prize, that the winner (and companions) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. 14. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions from the various lottery Departments. 15. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. As per the relevant Privacy Legislation, a request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below. 16. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. 17. The Promoter reserves the right to request the major prize winner to provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. 18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
