Patricia Heaton is Frankie Heck, put upon wife and mother who tries to keep her family on an even keel despite the lack of help from husband Mike (Neil Flynn) and their three kids. Created by Eileen Heisler and DeAnn Heline, who were also the team behind classics Roseanne, Murphy Brown and How I Met Your Mother, The Middle is a super strong modern sitcom. It's also laugh out loud funny! The three disc set features all 24 episodes from the first season and watch out for big name guest stars that include the likes of Marsha Mason, the legendary Betty White, Brooke Shields, Alexa Vega and Amy Sedaris. Extras are good too and include a featurette on the making of the series, cast and crew sharing their school photo experiences, previously unaired scenes and a blooper reel.
