Terms & Conditions for CANEGROWERS subscribe and win a trip to Sydney
for 4 people to see the NRL Grand Final (Promotion)
Information on how to enter and details of the prize form part of these Conditions
of Entry (Conditions).
1. Information on how to enter and details of the prize form part of these
Conditions of Entry (Conditions). Entry into the CANEGROWERS subscribe and
win a trip to Sydney for 4 people to see the NRL Grand Final (Promotion) is
deemed to be an acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Promotion commences Monday 26 July 2010. Entries close at 4pm on Friday 10
September 2010 (Promotional Period).
3. Entry is open to financial members of CANEGROWERS only. Employees (and
their immediate families) of the Promoter, or agencies or companies associated
with this Promotion, are ineligible to enter.
How to Enter
4. For a chance to win a trip to Sydney for 4 people to see the NRL Grand Final,
entrants should:
a) Subscribe to the CANEGROWERS Market Update Service (free
for members) and hold a valid subscription at time of drawing.
1. See CANEGROWERS web page or your local CANEGROWERS office for
subscription form.
2. Send completed subscription form to CANEGROWERS
by fax 07 3864 6429 or email a scanned copy to
info@canegrowers.com.au.
b) One entry per CANEGROWERS membership number.
c) Existing subscribers will automatically be entered into the competition.
Prizes
5. The total prize package is valued at up to $3,000 (inc. GST). The following
prize package will be awarded:
Return economy class flights from nearest airport to Sydney for 4 people, two
nights accommodation in Sydney at Medina Executive Sydney Central on 2 & 3
October 2010 (2 rooms) and 4 A - Reserve tickets to the NRL Grand Final on
Sunday 3 October 2010.
6. Prizes are subject to availability at all times and not transferable. Prize winner
is responsible for any amendment fees issued by the travel supplier once
booking has been confirmed. The prizes do not include meals or transfers.
Travel insurance, passports, visas, all international and domestic taxes and fuel
surcharges, taxes on airline tickets, transport to and from departure and arrival
points and all other ancillary costs are the winner’s responsibility unless
otherwise stated. Flights are subject to availability.
7. The value of the Prize is accurate at the date of commencement of the
Promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the
value of a Prize after that date. The Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or
redeemed for cash. Where a Prize is unavailable, the Promoter retains the right
to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to the
directions of any gaming authority in Australia.
How winner will be determined
8. There will be one draw at 9.00am on the Monday 13 September 2010. The first
subscriber drawn will win the Prize (as detailed above). The draw will be
conducted at CANEGROWERS, Level 7, 190 Edward St, BRISBANE QLD 4000.
9. The winner will be notified by mail and/or phone and the name of the winner
will be published in the Australian Canegrower on 20 September 2010.
10. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at CANEGROWERS, Level 7,
190 Edward St, BRISBANE QLD 4000, if necessary for any unclaimed Prize,
subject to any directions given by any gaming authority in Australia.
11. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to validate and check the authenticity of
entries. Any stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with entries will be deemed
void.
13. The Promoter and its associated agencies or companies accept no responsibility
for any late or misdirected entries.
14. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, the
Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to modify the terms of the
Promotion including the Prize and these Conditions, subject to the directions of
the gaming authorities in each State and Territory (where relevant).
15. If the Prize is won by a person under the age of 18, the Prize will be awarded
to the winner’s parent or guardian.
16.Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting the Prize is the responsibility of
the winner.
17. The Promoter and its associated companies and agencies will not be liable for
any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to
indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained
as a result of receiving, taking or using the Prize except for any liability which
cannot be excluded by law.
18. All claims and entries become the property of the Promoter.
19. By entering this Promotion, each entrant consents to the Promoter using the
entrant’s personal information to administer the Promotion and announce the
winner and disclosing the entrant’s personal information to organisations that
assist the Promoter with administering the Promotion and announcing the
winner, and to third parties as required by law (including authorities that
regulate this Promotion). By entering into this Promotion, each entrant also
consents to their personal information being used by the Promoter for future
marketing and promotional purposes. The Promoter is bound by the National
Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Entrants can access and
correct the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting
the Promoter on 07 3864 6444. The Promoter’s full privacy policy is available
