A sorcerer and his hapless apprentice are swept into an ancient conflict between good and evil in a Disney movie about to hit cinemas.

Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice living in modern-day Manhattan. He and Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel) have to save the city from arch-nemesis Maxim Horvath.

Quest Community Newspapers has 15 merchandise packs for The Sorcerer’s Apprentice to give away. Each pack includes a family movie pass, T-Shirt, watch, key holder, slide puzzle, metal bookmark, mouse pad, poster and dragon ring and is valued at $253.

There are also 45 family passes to the movie (in cinemas from September 9) to give away each valued at $66.

Entries close at 9am on September 10. Winners will be drawn at 10am and notified by mail. Results will be published on September 14, 15 & 16.

10. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. Winners must take the prizes as given.

12. In the event of a promoter other than Quest Community Newspapers cancelling any event related to this prize, Quest Community Newspapers cannot be held responsible.
