Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia – excluding Tasmania. Directors, management and employees and their immediate families, retailers (and their employees), suppliers, associated companies and agencies of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. The promotion commences at 9:00am (EST) on Monday 6th September 2010 and closes at 6:00pm (EST) on Friday 1st October 2010 (“Promotional Period”).
5. To be eligible to enter, you must, during the Promotional Period, purchase from a participating Supa IGA, IGA or IGA Xpress store, any product in the IGA Signature range.
How to enter
6. To enter, you must then either:
(a) send your full name, residential address, phone number and email address along with your original qualifying purchase barcode AND itemised qualifying store receipt clearly showing the qualifying purchase, corresponding store name and date and time of purchase, to: IGA Signature Promotion, PO Box 6226 Silverwater Business Centre NSW 1811; or
(b) log onto the website www.iga.com.au, follow the links to the promotional page and fully complete the online entry form including your first name, last name, telephone number, email address, street address, suburb, state, postcode, store of purchase, time of purchase and date of purchase (as featured on your qualifying purchase receipt).
IF YOU CHOOSE TO ENTER ONLINE YOU MUST RETAIN YOUR ORIGINAL STORE RECEIPT SHOWING THE QUALIFYING PURCHASE, CORRESPONDING STORE NAME AND DATE AND TIME OF PURCHASE TO CLAIM ANY PRIZE. FAILURE TO PROVIDE THE PROOF OF PURCHASE WHEN REQUESTED MAY, IN THE ABSOLUTE DISCRETION OF THE PROMOTER, RENDER ALL AN ENTRANT’S ENTRIES INVALID AND FORFEIT THEIR RIGHT TO ANY PRIZE. PURCHASE RECEIPT(S) MUST CLEARLY SPECIFY THE STORE OF PURCHASE AND THAT THE PURCHASE WAS MADE DURING THE PROMOTION PERIOD BUT PRIOR TO ENTRY.
7. Incomplete, illegible or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
8. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements; and (c) unrecognised store names will be deemed invalid.
9. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the promotion database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.
10. Any entry that is lodged by automatic, repetitive, robotic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents, including the use of a competition entry service, will be void.
Prizes
11. There are fifty (50) prizes to be awarded (ten (10) in each State/Territory Group), each consisting of one (1) x $100 IGA gift voucher. Total Prize Pool valued at $5000.00.
Selection of Winners
12. There will be five prize draws – one for each State / Territory Group as follows:

Each prize draw will include all entries from that State/Territory.
13. Prize draws will take place at 10.00am (EST) on Tuesday 5th October, 2010 at the Promoter’s premises at 50 Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113. The first ten (10) valid entries randomly drawn in each State/Territory Group prize draw will each win a prize.
Notification of Winners
14. All winners will be notified by telephone and mail within 2 days of the draw. The winner’s names will be published in The Australian Newspaper on Tuesday 12th October 2010. Winners will also be published on the Promoter’s website, at www.iga.com.au
15. IGA vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue, and are subject to IGA voucher terms and conditions. Individual vouchers must be used in one transaction, and no change will be given. The IGA vouchers will be delivered to the winner’s local IGA store (as notified on the entry coupon). Winners may be required to provide proof of identity and sign to collect their prize.
16. The Promoters may contact an entrant at any time after receiving an entry, including without limitation during or after the Promotional Period or after the prize draw, for the purpose of determining whether the entrant meets the eligibility requirements.
17. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Promoter’s decision in relation to all aspects of the promotion is final and binding on all who enter - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
18. In the event any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the relevant lottery authorities.
19. If necessary, a second chance draw will be held at 10am (EDST) on Wednesday 5th January 2011 at the Promoter’s premises, 50 Waterloo Road, Macquarie Park NSW 2113 in order to distribute any unclaimed prize. Winners will be notified by telephone and mail within 2 days of the draw and will be published in The Australian on Wednesday 12th January 2011.
20. Prizes are not variable or transferable. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
21. In the event that any prize (or any part of the prize) becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize (or the relevant part of a prize) with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various lottery authorities.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
23. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
24. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
25. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on (02) 9741 3000 during office hours.
