A musical adventure playground….2010 Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra KIDS’ PROMS CONCERTS, Sunday 19 September, two concerts: 2.00 & 3.30pm

Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra’s Kids Proms concerts introduce young children to the sound world of an orchestra with a fun filled afternoon of character music packed with a huge range of emotions, musical colours and sounds.

2010 Kids Proms are themed Monsters and Wild Things and feature dad/composer Damian Barbeler's new score 'Hide and Squeak' based on a nursery rhyme you can all sing to!

Two 2010 Kids Proms concerts take place on Sunday 19th September at St Ives Uniting Church (Cnr Mona Vale Rd. & Douglas St., St. Ives) at 2pm & 3.30pm. Tickets are $10 each or $38 for a family of 4; available through MCA Ticketing on 1300 306 776 or through www.kpo.org.au <http://www.kpo.org.au>

Audience feedback: ‘Thank you so much for giving our children the opportunity to enjoy this very accessible presentation of wonderful classical music. Rachel (the one who couldn't keep her crown on!) just danced and clapped and stamped so much - I've never seen her have a better time.’

‘It was absolutely fantastic; a great way to enthral children in classical music.’

KPO and WebChild has 2 family passes (4 tickets each) to see Kids Proms on Sunday 19th September at either 2pm or 3.30pm. To enter simply fill in the entry form below. Entries close September 15, 2010.
