Win 1/4 Bosisto's Lavender Spray.

It has a multitude of uses and, well, it's lavender spray! It's pretty, and sweet and lovely.

I wrote a few articles under The Courier-Mail banner a while ago on night terrors, but of all the information I dug up while researching those pieces, it’s the advice from a friend that has stuck with me. My children don’t have night terrors. The occasional bad dream but I only ever hear about it over weet-bix, not during the night accompanied by screams of terror.
“We spray ‘magic’ lavender spray on the pillow before bedtime,” she said. “It wards off bad dreams.” I was thoroughly impressed with this little nugget of motherly wisdom and have kept it filed away in my brain.
It came back to me last week when I was sent a trial pack of Bosisto’s new Lavender Spray. The can boasts anti-bacterial properties, room and rubbish bin deodorising powers, and antiseptic uses on cuts and abrasions. And it says: “Spray bedroom and/or pillow 10 minutes before bed to calm, soothe and promote sleep.”

Ah-hah!

Of course, we all know lavender is a great relaxant. It has calming properties. I’ve got flowering lavender in a pot by the front door because in summer the wafting scent through my office window is very soothing, and always feels a little French to me. Exotic.

Anyhoo, would you like a can of Bosisto’s Lavender Spray? I’ve got four cans of the magic spray to give away.

Just comment below – any comment – and you could win.

Prizes drawn some time in the near future. I used to say when I would draw them. But then I’d keep missing the deadlines. So now, I just promise that as soon as I’ve got more than four comments I’ll draw the prize. So hop to it!

If you’re not lucky enough to win a can but you’d still like one, you can get your own can of lavender magic at Coles in the medicinal aisle or at pharmacies, after you fork over $12.95. For more information on all things magical, or just all things Bosisto’s Lavender Spray, go here. Cheers!
