Broadway Summer Shopping Spree Competition 2010
Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter form part of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of Australia. Employees and the immediate families of the promoter and
agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. This includes retailers, retail employees
and their immediate families within Broadway Shopping Centre.
3. The competition will commence at EST 10am Monday 6 September 2010 and close at EST 6pm
Sunday 3 October 2010. There will be 4 weekly winners draws held at 9.30am on 13th, 20th, 27th
September and 4th October 2010. The draws will take place in Broadway Shopping Centre at the
Customer Service Desk on Level 2. The entry barrel will be emptied at the end of each draw for the
commencement of collection of the following week’s entries.
4. To enter, customers must spend $50 at any Broadway Shopping Centre specialty women’s, men’s,
unisex or children’s fashion, footwear, fashion accessories, hair and beauty, pharmacy and cosmetics or
jewellery retailer and present their receipts and completed entry form/s at the Customer Service Desk
on Level 2 during the Centre’ core trading hours to validate their receipts. Upon validation, the
customers receipts and entry form/s will be stamped to confirm eligibility for entry. The Centre’s core
trading hours are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 10am – 7pm
Thursday: 10am – 9pm
Saturday: 9am – 6pm
Sunday: 10am – 6pm
Fashion, fashion accessories, footwear, jewellery, pharmacy and cosmetics and hair and beauty
retailers are as stated under these headings in the Centre directory. They include Attik, Bardot,

Cutting Point, David Lawrence, Dezire Beauty & Nails, Diva, Dotti, Ella Bache, Esprit, Forever New,

Apparel purchases from Kmart & Target will not be accepted.
5. A maximum of 1 (one) receipt at the minimum required amount of $50 is valid per transaction, with a
maximum of 4 (four) entry forms rewarded per transaction. Monies spent on paying bills at Australia
Post, purchasing lottery/scratchies, lay-by payments are not considered valid in the overall calculation
of the required $50 spend for this promotion.
6. Each winner will receive: a personal styling consultation to a maximum of 6 hours plus $2,500 to
spend in one day with the stylist at any fashion, fashion accessories, footwear, jewellery, pharmacy
and cosmetics or hair and beauty specialty retailers at Broadway Shopping Centre.
7. Total prize value is $10,000.
8. The winner each week will be notified by phone and their name will be published on the Broadway
Shopping Centre website broadway.com.au. If the winner cannot be contacted by 4pm on the above
dates a new winner will be drawn. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered
into.
9. If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or
guardian.
10. Broadway Shopping Centre reserves the right to refuse participation / entry to this competition to
any person at their complete discretion.
11. Shoppers who are suspected of cheating, copying receipts, obtaining receipts from other shoppers,
garbage bins, shopping trolleys, or by any other means than purchasing the goods themselves will
be refused the right to participate and/or win.
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but
not limited to direct or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of
taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13. All entries become the property of Broadway Shopping Centre. All customers are provided with an
option not to receive promotional material from Broadway Shopping Centre by ticking the allocated
box on the entry form. All entry forms that do no have a tick will be entered in to a database and the
entrants’ names and address may be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time.
