Any ideas people?  I'm thinking tropical waters.  I'm thinking either national park, or resort.  The concrete on the left has me thrown.  No idea what sort of boat that is.   I've tried all sorts of searches....

Do you think the concrete slab is a boat ramp?

I'm not sure.  I've googled for ship wreck/boat wreck/abandoned next to boat ramp...naddah.  I'm wondering if that clump on the far right is also part of some concrete structure. 

hmmm, tried all the above and grounded, aground, concrete jetty, dry bed ... spent about an hour so far - are we completely bonkers?

while we search our little hearts out, ... does anyone know the answer to last month's where in the world?  The guy in orange with the huge crab?

Yes!  I won it!  I gave it another go on the last day.  Had nothing better to do since the board was down for me.

In the end, it was a bit of a guess.  I decided it had to be tasmania, and not in a big city aquarium.  It fit the bill, so I took a punt.  Could have knocked me over with a feather when I got the email (which was from ubid, voucher attached).

With the board down, I'd not even been able to post my win!

I thought it looked like a wide expanse of concrete...but i wonder if its just a wall with mud etc on the other side. 
Could it be a causeway? 
I've searched that too, no luck.  I'm thinking it's remote.  Maybe on the north west coast, or up in the territory?  Or on a coral atoll, or island.

The water just looks tropical to me, but maybe water in SA and Tassie can look like that too?

Don't we live in a beautiful country - looking at all these gorgeous coastlines and knowing they're ours is pretty special!  but I still can't find the blasted thing!

thank you!  It really was a "thought out' guess though.  After all of us tried, and couldn't, I put it in my "dailys" and on the last day, thought "bugger it" and just put it in. 

I get frustrated when I can't google up an answer, as you may have guessed from teh stack quizes!

And yes, we do live in a gorgeous country.
I'm gunna print off the photo and take it to work tomorrow.  See if anyone has any clue. 

Anyone seen similar slippery when wet signs?  Does a particular state perhaps use them at their national parks? 

The channel marker (I assume its a channel marker) looks like a triangle, upside down...sortof.  Does that mean anything?  Ugh!

nope :( i have asked everyone i know and goggled my little heart out.... got every other shipwreck but this one

I've googled myself out on this one too! Hubby took the photo to his work, and showed someone who travels extensively on the WA coast (probably Coral Bay to Kununurra) and he didn't recognise it.

Tried googling with google images? I gave it a quick go but don't have the time this morning.

yes i tried images and web... no luck :( am off to a wedding soon and won't be back online till tomorrow, good luck finding it guys :D

Boxsey and I and a fair few others spent hours on this one googling, binging and yahooing and no success either.  Well done to whoever finally discovers it!

I have been looking at South Australian shipwrecks but couldn't match any photos, wondering if it is Wardang Island off the coast of Yorke Peninsula, guess we will find out!
