Bankwest “365 Days of Happy Shopping” Promotion
COMPETITION AND ENTRY DETAILS
Authorised under NSW Permit Number LTPS/10/09993, VIC Permit Number 10/3834,

1. METHOD OF ENTRY:
During the promotional period, listeners of radio stations Mix106.5. Mix101.1, Mix102.3,
973FM and 96FM will be encouraged to apply for a Bankwest Lite MasterCard for their
chance to go into the draw to win one prize – 365 Days of Happy Shopping which
comprises $20,000 deposited on their approved Bankwest Lite MasterCard. To enter,
entrants must first apply for a Bankwest Lite MasterCard in person at any Bankwest store,
over the phone or online. Entry is open New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South
Australia or Western Australia residents. Lending criteria, fees and charges apply,
including an annual fee of $59. Terms and conditions apply and are available on
request. One Bankwest Lite MasterCard per customer. If an application is conditionally
approved between the Active Contesting Dates, the applicant will automatically go into the
draw.
2. PRIZES:
One winner selected nationally will be awarded with $20,000 to be deposited in their
approved Bankwest Lite MasterCard.

3. SCHEDULE
1.1 Pre-promotion commencement date: n/a
1.2 Active Contesting Dates: This competition commences at 00.00am AEST on Friday 15
October and closes at 11.59pm on Wednesday 1 December 2010.
1.3 Minimum Age: All entrants MUST be over the age of 18 years to enter the promotion
and claim the prize.
1.4 Limitation of Entry: As per point 3 in conditions of entry.
1.5 Winner selection date and time: The prize winner will be selected at random by
computer generated software from a computer generated list of eligible entrants supplied
by the Promoter to the Australian Radio Network (ACN 065 986 987) (ARN), owner of the
radio station/s listed above, at 3 Byfield Street, North Ryde, NSW 2113 on Monday 6
December 2010 at 12.00pm AEST
1.6 Winner selection announcement details: The winner will be notified by phone and/or
email by Wednesday 8 December 2010.

1.7 Second chance prize draw: The Promoter may conduct a second chance prize draw if
the prize is unclaimed or if the application for the Bankwest Lite MasterCard of the entrant
first drawn in the original draw has not been finally approved in accordance with the
Promoter’s usual terms and conditions. Any second chance prize draw will be held at the
same place as the original draw on Monday 21 March 2011 to distribute the prize. The
winner of the second chance prize draw will be notified by phone and/or email by
Wednesday 23 March 2011.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. THE PROMOTER
The Promoter of this competition is the Bank of Western Australia Ltd (Bankwest) ABN 22
050 494 454, AFSL 236872, 108 St George’s Terrace, Perth WA 6000 (‘Bankwest’). The
Bankwest Lite MasterCard is issued by Bankwest.
2. PROMOTION DATES:
This competition commences on the date specified in Schedule 1.2 and ends on the date
as specified in Schedule 1.2.
3. WHO MAY ENTER:
Entry is open to NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, and WA residents only. All Entrants MUST be Australian
residents and over the age of 18 years to be eligible for entry. All entrants must have a
conditionally approved Bankwest Lite MasterCard application in order to enter the
promotion. All entrants must receive finalised approval for their Bankwest Lite MasterCard
in accordance with Bankwest’s usual terms and conditions in order to be awarded the
prize. The Promoter may make inquiries as it deems necessary in its absolute discretion, to
satisfy itself that the above conditions have been met.
The following persons are not eligible to enter and be awarded prizes:
(i) employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter or ARN or any companies or
agencies involved and/or associated with this competition; or
(ii) the spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling
(whether natural or adopted by a parent), of such employees and contractors
(whether or not they live in the same household); or
iii) entrants who have won a prize/prizes valued either individually or collectively at
more than $100 from ARN, or in any contest run by ARN, in the prior 30 days; or
iv) entrants who are discovered to have used or attempted to use any more than
one name in order to qualify to win any contest run by ARN except in the case
of a legal change of name;
v) entrants under the age of 18 years as at October 15th 2010; and
vi) entrants who are not an Australian resident.

All entrants acknowledge that the Promoter can rely on these Conditions of Entry even
if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has awarded
the prize to the ineligible person. Return of the prize or payment of its equivalent value
to the Promoter can be required by the Promoter if this occurs.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS:
The prize winner will be selected at random by computer generated software from a
computer generated list of eligible entrants supplied by the Promoter to the Australian
Radio Network (ACN 065 986 987) (ARN), owner of the radio station/s listed above, at 3
Byfield Street, North Ryde, NSW 2113 on Monday 6 December 2010 at 12.00pm AEST.
5. PRIZE NOTIFICATION AND PUBLICATION:
The winner will be notified by Wednesday 8 December 2010 at 12.00pm AEST by phone
and/or email following the prize winner draw, or by Wednesday 23 March 2011, following
any second chance prize draw.
ARN will announce the name and postcode of the winner to be published in The
Australian on Friday 17 December 2010, or 1 April 2011 for any second chance prize draw
winner, and details may also appear on the website of the radio station in the winner’s
home state and on the Promoter’s public website.
6. PRIZE COLLECTION:
The prize must be claimed in person unless the winner is otherwise advised. ID that
includes a photograph will be required. The collection of the prize is the sole responsibility
of the winner.
Upon request by the Promoter a copy of these Conditions of Entry and/or a signed receipt
and acknowledgement must be signed and endorsed by any winner to indicate his/her
understanding and acceptance of these terms.
The winner will receive their prize in the form of cash deposited into their approved
Bankwest Lite MasterCard. The winner will be subject to the Promoter’s terms and
conditions for the nominated product. The winner's Bankwest Lite MasterCard must be
maintained in accordance with the credit card terms and conditions in order to receive the
prize.
7. PUBLICITY:
Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Promoter and ARN to use the winner’s
name, suburb of residence, recording of winner’s voice and likeness for advertising and
promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
8. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY:
The Promoter takes no responsibility for the prizes becoming lost or stolen after it has
been collected by and released to the entrant.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter and ARN and its associated agencies and
companies shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or
sustained including, but not limited to indirect or consequential (including economic) loss,
or for personal injury suffered or sustained, either directly or indirectly, as a result of
entering this competition or accepting or using any prize.
A winner may be required to sign and return any liability release provided by the Promoter
and/or its contractors as a condition of the prize being awarded. Failure to return the
signed releases and indemnities will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited
and a selection of another winner.
9. DISQUALIFICATION:
The Promoter and ARN are not responsible for lost, interrupted communications or
unavailable network server or other connections, failed telephone, mid-delivery or
computer transmissions, or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or
electronic.
The Promoter and ARN assume no responsibility for any error, defect, delay, theft or
unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. Subject to any written directions given
under the applicable law, if for any reason, the competition is not capable of operating as
planned, including infection by computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention,
fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter and ARN which corrupts or
affects the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the competition, then the
Promoter and ARN reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend this competition.
The Promoter and ARN reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual
for:
a) tampering with the entry process, including exceeding any limitation on the numbers of
entries, or any other process as determined by the Promoter and Bankwest that in any
way affects the fairness of the promotion;
b) tampering with the operation of the competition or web site;
c) acting in violation of these terms and conditions; or
d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
If an entrant selected as winner is found to be in breach of these Conditions of Entry, a
new winner may be selected and, in the event that the entrant in breach has been
awarded a prize, the entrant may be required to return the prize or reimburse the value of
the prize to the Promoter and ARN.
10. PARTICIPATION:
Participation in the competition constitutes the entrant’s unconditional agreement to and
acceptance of these Conditions of Entry and Competition and Entry Details. The Conditions
of Entry may change from time to time. Any changes to conditions will be posted on the
www.mix1065.com.au, www.mix1011.com.au, www.mix1023.com.au, www.973fm.com.au
and www.96fm.com.au and www.bankwest.com.au websites. The Entrant is responsible
for ensuring his or her familiarity with the Conditions of Entry at the time of participation.
The Promoter’s decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a waiver of
that restriction or of the Conditions of Entry generally.

11. PERSONAL INFORMATION:
The Promoter collects the personal information relating to entries for the purposes of
processing the credit card application and conducting this promotion and/or publishing
the winners’ details as required by law. If any of the information requested is not provided
the entry may be ineligible. The winner's personal information may be disclosed to ARN
including and/or any agents, contractors or other service providers (including professional
advisers) of ARN for the purposes of selecting the winner, publicity (see clause 7) or
publishing the winners’ details as required by law.
