As a that's melbourne eNewsletter subscriber, you receive regular emails from us offering up loads of information about things happening around the city. We love sharing this information with you – and we hope it has inspired many a happy adventure for you and your friends. Now we'd like to get to know you a little better. We write to you every week, so we thought it was time to check in with you on your thoughts on Melbourne and our city – with a survey.

We have two $100 David Jones gift vouchers to dangle in front of you as an incentive to complete our survey. And we sincerely hope it is you who wins. All who complete the survey have the option to go into the draw to win.

CITY OF MELBOURNE 2010 CITY PERCEPTIONS SURVEY COMPETITION

   1. By entering into this competition, you agree to these terms and conditions.
   2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia, except employees and immediate families of the Promoter, associated companies and agencies and prize givers. The Promoter is Melbourne City Council, 240 Little Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.
   3. ‘The Prize’ is two $100 shopping vouchers from David Jones. The vouchers are valued at $100 each. Total prize value is $100 per person.
   4. The competition commences on 05/11/2010 at 5pm and closes on 15/11/2010 at 5pm AEDST.
   5. To enter the draw, entrants must correctly complete the online survey in full, and submit their entry details on the last survey page by filling out all required fields, prior to 5pm, Monday 15 November 2010.
   6. Entrants must be either a subscriber to the that’s melbourne eNewsletter to be eligible to win. This will be confirmed before the random draw is conducted.
   7. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible to win.
   8. Only one entry per person.
   9. Incomprehensible, illegible or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. All entries become the property of Melbourne City Council.
  10. The winning entry will be drawn at random at 12noon on 16/11/2010, by Sweeney Research representatives at 170 Bridport Street, Albert Park VIC 3206.
  11. The winner will be contacted via the mobile phone and/or email provided by the winner in the submitted entry form.
  12. If Melbourne City Council representatives are unable to contact the winner and/or the winner is unable to communicate their acceptance of the prize prior to 10am on Thursday 18 November 2010, that winner will forfeit the prize in its entirety and it will be awarded to the first runner up drawn in the promotion. Melbourne City Council will not be liable to a winner who cannot be contacted and therefore forfeits their prize, and no correspondence will be entered into. Melbourne City Council reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of age. Proof of identity, proof of residence and proof of age considered suitable for verification is required at the discretion of Melbourne City Council. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered or compensation paid.
  13. The winner must collect the prize from Melbourne City Council offices at 240 Little Collins Street, Melbourne, 3000 prior to 5pm, Friday 19 November.
  14. If the prize is unavailable for whatever reason Melbourne City Council reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State regulation. It is a condition of accepting a substitute prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated or provided.
  15. Melbourne City Council reserves the right to re-draw in the event of an entrant claiming to be a winner being unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions.
  16. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of Melbourne City Council. Council collects personal information about entrants in the competition and will comply with its Privacy Policy, which is available at www.melbourne.vic.gov.au
  17. Any change in the value of the prize claimed is not the responsibility of Melbourne City Council.
