The Lost Thing is a humorous story about a boy who discovers a bizarre-looking creature while out collecting bottle-tops at a beach. Having guessed that it is lost, he tries to find out who owns it or where it belongs, but the problem is met with indifference by everyone else, who barely notice it’s presence. Each is unhelpful in their own way; strangers, friends, parents are all unwilling to entertain this uninvited interruption to day-to-day life. In spite of his better judgement, the boy feels sorry for this hapless creature, and attempts to find out where it belongs.

By Australian author and illustrator Shaun Tan, this much loved and award winning story is now a wonderful animated film and this is your chance to win a copy of the DVD, the amazing book, and a signed poster.

The winner will be the most original and inventive answer to the question, as determined by the Judges in their absolute discretion. 6. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners. 7. The Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 8. Prizes must be taken as offered and are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash. In the event that, for any reason whatsoever, a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize is forfeited. 13.
