Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. 2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia who are 18 years of age or over as at the start date of the promotion. However, employees and their immediate families of Logitech Australia Computer Peripherals Pty Ltd, Granted Worldwide and Frank PR, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter. Students of Billy Blue College of Design are permitted to enter. 3. The competition commences on Monday 25th October 2010 at 00:01 (AEST) and concludes on Friday 31st December 2010 at 23:59 (AEST). 4. To enter, participants must go online to www.logitechcollection.com and submit a 300dpi image of a design which brings a fashionable edge to a functional product. This image must be in a sketch/line drawing format and can be either hand drawn or computer generated. There will be no preference given to black and white or coloured submissions. No submissions containing photography will be accepted. The image must be the design and original creation of the entrant and not a copy, replica, modification of another design or a submission of an image from another person. In addition to submitting their image, all entrants will be required to complete their details in the online entry form, including their name, residential address, contact phone number, email address, date of birth as it appears on their photo ID, and gender. 5. Only one entry per person will be permitted. 6. All entries become the property of The Promoter. By entering the promotion, all entrants waive their rights to the images they have submitted in the promotion. By entering the promotion all entrants grant the promoter all right, title and interest in and to all copyright of the image submitted in their entry, and consent to the image they submit in their entry being used by the promoter in any way they see fit including any alterations and modifications to the image. The promoter will have the right in their absolute discretion to use any or all images submitted during the promotion for any purposes they see fit including in any publication or media, electronic or otherwise, worldwide. The entrants will not be entitled to be paid any fee or compensation for the use of these images. 7. Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. 8. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and/or proof of entry validity (including proof of image originality) in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, age and entry validity considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. 9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of Promoter, includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements, disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause. 10. Entries must be received by 23:59 (AEST) on Friday 31st December 2010. The time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received by the Promoter’s online database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries including entries not received by the Promoter or delays in the delivery of the entry due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason. 11. The Prize: There will be one awarded for the competition. The winner as determined by the judge/s nominated by the Promoter will receive a trip to Tokyo for 2 people aged 18 years or over including: return economy airfares from the winner’s nearest state capital city to Tokyo for 2 adults aged 18 years or over, return coach transfers from the airport to hotel, 4 nights twin share accommodation in an economy room at the Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku Hotel (or similar), applicable airfare and accommodation taxes and personal travel coordination by Granted Worldwide. 1. The prize is valued at a total maximum value of $7000. The total prize value for the promotion is $7000. 13. Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. 14. Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all other expenses including any applicable departure tax, travel to and from the departure point, meals, in room expenses, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs, are the responsibility of the winner and payable by the winner and their travel companion. 15. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they hold a valid passport and their winner holds a valid passport and that neither the winner, nor their travelling companion are restricted from travelling to Japan. The winner and their travelling companion must also obtain any necessary Visas and travel documentation required. All costs associated with obtaining passport, Visas and any other documentation are the responsibility of the winner. 16. If the prize or any element of the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a different prize of equal value. The substitute prize on offer will be at the absolute discretion of the promoter. 17. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. 18. Once prizes have left the Promoter’s premises, the Promoter takes no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit. 1. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable media editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned throughout the duration of the prize. 1. In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby assigns to the Promoter all right, title and interest in and to all copyright in any material created pursuant to the winner’s participation in the promotion and any aspect of the prize (Works). The winner acknowledges that the Promoter is free to use the Works and to exercise its rights in relation to use of the Works and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use. 1. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. 23. Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date. 24. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize. 25. This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. 26. Each valid entry (as determined by the promoter) submitted during the duration of the competition will be included in the judging process. Prior to judging, each entry will be stripped of all identifying information and assigned a number corresponding to the entrant’s personal details to ensure no bias in the judging process. 27. All valid entries will be judged starting at 09:00 (AEST) on Monday 3rd January 2011 at by Dr. Mieke Leppens from Billy Blue College of Design. A total of five finalists will be selected, and then the competition winner will be determined from these five finalists by Dr. Mieke Leppens and the promoter at their absolute discretion. 28. The winner will be determined by 23:59 (AEST) on Thursday 6th January 2011. 29. The winner will be notified by phone and in writing within 7 days of the draw. 30. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter at Logitech@frankpr.com.au. 31. The Prize must be taken at the time specified by the Promoter. The prize cannot be taken during public holidays, school holidays, special events and peak periods including between 5 December 2011 and 20 January 2012. If a winner and their travelling companion are, for whatever reason, unable to travel on the nominated dates, or do not take an element of the prize within the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize or element thereof. 32. Travel must be booked within 2 months of winner notification. All travel must be completed within 12 months of winner notification. 33. The prize must be claimed by Tuesday 1st February 2011. If the prize remains unallocated or unclaimed, or the winner is uncontactable, a second chance winner will be determined from the five finalists by the Promoter and the nominated judge. 34. The Promoter and judge’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Competition result. 35. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. The winner may also be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. 36. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, (including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism) the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions at a later date. 37. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with taking the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 38. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved. 39. The Promoter, and their associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. 40.
