Promotion Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is considered acceptance of these terms and conditions.

   1. This Promotion is promoted by Samarad Pty Ltd ABN: 79 100 072 704 (the “Promoter”), part of the Mantra Group of companies located at Level 1/50 Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise 4217, Queensland; phone (07) 5631 2500.
   2. Entry is open to Australian residents 18 years and over of NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, SA, NT, TAS and WA who subscribe to receive Mantra Hotels, Resorts and Apartments email newsletters between Wednesday 20 October 2010 and Wednesday 22 December 2010 at 5pm AEST (inclusive).
   3. Officers, employees, successors or assigns of Mantra Group and its parent companies, its agencies in the promotion, as well as immediate family of any of them are ineligible to enter. "Immediate family" means spouse, parent, child or sibling, whether or not they live in the same household as the employee.
   4. Eligible entrants are permitted only one entry per valid email address, plus one additional entry per friend referred. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
   5. The competition commences on Wednesday 20 October 2010 at 10am AEST and closes on Wednesday 22 December 2010 at 5pm AEST ('Promotion Period').
   6. How to enter
          * Entrants must subscribe to receive email promotions through the special competition form at http://www.mantra.com.au/beat-them/.
          * Entrants must complete the registration form and click the submit button.
          * Entrants can receive additional entries by referring the competition details by email to a friend.
   7. No responsibility will be taken by the Promoter for any ineligible or lost entries or entries submitted or received by the Promoter after the closing date. Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions, are incomplete, or submitted or received by the Promoter after the closing date will be declared void.
   8. The competition prize draw of winners will take place at 10am AEST on Friday 07 January 2011 at Ezymsg.com of 1B 27 Sinclar Street, Arundel QLD 4214‎. The winners will be contacted by phone and email relying on contact details provided by the entrant. The prize winners will also be published on the Mantra website http://www.mantra.com.au (http://www.mantra.com.au)/beat-them/ . The result of the prize draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
   9. In the case of unclaimed prizes, a redraw will take place at 10am AEST on Thursday 07 April 2010 at Ezymsg.com of 1B 27 Sinclar Street, Arundel QLD 4214‎.
  10. The Prize will be posted to the winners via Australia Post.
  11. The first five entries drawn will each win a Major Prize
          * By entering the competition all entrants have the chance to win one of five Mantra accommodation gift cards valued at $AUD500 each.
          * Once an entrant has been declared a winner, they are no longer eligible to win again.
          * Each prize is valued at $AUD500 with a total of five prizes drawn.
          * Airfares, transfers, meals, spending money or any additional incidental costs relating to the prize are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.
          * Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other goods.
          * The prize is subject to the full terms and conditions of the gift card, which can be found at http://www.mantra.com.au/gift-cards/ .
          * Each $AUD500 accommodation prize voucher is valid for stays at Mantra Hotel, Resort and Apartments located in Australia only. Accommodation prize vouchers are non refundable or non redeemable for cash. Accommodation prize vouchers are valid for 12 months from the draw date of 10am AEST on Friday 07 January 2011. Accommodation prize vouchers cannot be topped up. Accommodation prize voucher can only be redeemed via Central Reservation on 13 15 17.
          * Travel insurance is not included but recommended.
          * Total Maximum Prize Value = $2,500

      The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value, or availability of the Prize.
  12. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Acceptance of the prize is deemed to be acceptance by the winner of these terms and conditions and approval to use the winner’s name for publicity purposes, unless specifically requested by the winner not to do so at the time of accepting the prize.
  13. If the competition does not run for its duration due to, but not limited to, computer viruses, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the Promoter’s control that corrupts or affects administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. The Promoter will not be responsible for:
          * Malfunction, delay or traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website;
          * any entry not received by the Promoter as a result of those matters; nor
          * Any injury or damage to entrants or any other person related to or resulting from participation in the competition or downloading any materials relating to the competition.
          * Information collected and held by the Promoter on all contestants will be kept and used in accordance with the promoters 'Privacy Policy' at www.mantra.com.au. You will receive promotional emails from the Promoter after entering this competition and you will have the option to unsubscribe from these emails.
