Photographers, the last edition of ‘Footprints South Australia’ has been an amazing success and we want YOU to be part of the 2011 edition!!

It’s that time of the year again where we have opened the photographic competition and calling for submissions for the 2011 edition of Footprints. For your opportunity to shine with the most talented, show us your best work, be creative, be artistic and don’t be afraid! 

Iconic Adelaide Image competition prizes include:

    * An iPad
    * A $500 South Australian Visitor and Travel Centre voucher
    * One night accomodation in an Adelaide 5 Star hotel which includes a meal for two at Windy Point restaurant
    * Membership to Advantage SA (Business Level)

The winning image may be used to market the State of South Australia via print, online, television and outdoor advertising


Terms and conditions of entry for Footprints - 2011 ‘Off the beaten track’.
1. This competition is open to all amateur, enthusiast and professional photographers.
2. Copyright remains with the photographer at all times.
3. The photographer gives permission for tish’n enigma books to use submitted images to promote the book and competition across all medias and to be included in the Footprints 2011 book which will be available for purchase from book stores.
4. Entries must be received by the Friday 26th November 2010.
5. Judging of images will be done by Gavin Blake, David Evans, Karen Norris and Paul Atkins.
6. Images will be judged out of 100 by each judge, and the final score will be the average of the four scores.
7. If there is a tie for a placing, the aggregate score will determine the winner.
8. Winners of each category will be announced by the end of December 2010 and invited to the book launch.
9. Each image must be 100% photographic origin taken in South Australia after January 1 2007.
10. If you want your entries returned, please place a self addressed return Australia post satchel with your entry.
11. Photographers name must be written on the disc and on the back of printed image submissions.
12. There is no limit to how many images may be submitted.
13. Entries must include a description of where the image was taken and any historical significance.
14. The cover category image must be a landscape orientation.
15. Lead in images to the regions must be portrait orientation.

16. We are judging actual prints NOT digital images, so Images are to be submitted in printed version in no bigger than A4 and on digital images supplied on DVD, CD or USB and posted to:
tish’n enigma books, PO Box 438, St Agnes, 5097, SA.

17. Digital images must comply with the following specifications:
 2000 pixels on the longest side at 300dpi
 Saved in CMYK colour space
 Saved as PDF or JPG compression 10 or more
 Named: first last category code ###. E.g. JohnCitizen-MUR-001, JohnCitizen-EVE-001 etc
18. By entering this competition you confirm that you are the creator and owner of each image submitted, that you have the permission of any subjects over the age of 18 and if a minor, the permission of their guardians or parents, that the work does not infringe copyright laws, the image was taken lawfully without trespassing illegally or invading anybody’s privacy and does not breach any laws to the best of your knowledge.
19. tish’n enigma books will exercise all reasonable care with the images submitted but will not be held responsible for any loss or damage while in their custody or in transit or being transferred or reproduced.
20. Electronic entries will not be considered.
21. The judge’s decision is final and negotiations will not be entered into.


Terms and conditions of entry for Footprints - 2011
Iconic Adelaide Image Competition
1. The winner agrees to grant an exclusive license for a period of 12 months from the publish date of Footprints to the members of the Adelaide Marketing Group. The Adelaide Marketing Group secretariat, Advantage SA, will manage all usage on behalf of members Adelaide City Council, Adelaide Convention Bureau, Government of South Australia, Education Adelaide and South Australian Tourism Commission. Image use may span across television, online, press and outdoor advertising, marketing collateral and other promotional material distributed within South Australia, nationally and internationally. A photography credit will be included where possible. The photographer must acknowledge that the image is not to be on sold to other parties, and will be exclusively for the use of the Adelaide Marketing Group during this period.
