1.The promoter is Suncorp Portfolio Services Limited of Suncorp Centre, Level 18, 36 Wickham Terrace Brisbane QLD 4000. ABN 61 063 427 958. Telephone: 13 11 55.
2.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By entering this competition you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or over who:
a.have a Suncorp WealthSmartTM superannuation account with access to the Suncorp WealthSmart member website (‘Suncorp WealthSmart superannuation account members’); and
b.elect to receive their Suncorp superannuation correspondence (including important documents such as annual statements, confirmations of transactions and updates to their account) via email by visiting the Suncorp WealthSmart member website via www.suncorp.com.au and following the prompts to switch from receiving their correspondence via mail to receiving their correspondence via email by providing their email address between 10/9/10 and 11:59pm (AEDST) on 15/11/10.
4.All Suncorp WealthSmart superannuation account members who have already elected to receive their Suncorp superannuation correspondence (including important documents such as annual statements, confirmations of transactions and updates to their account) via email will also be entered into the draw.
5.Employees and their immediate families of: the promoter, Suncorp Authorised Representatives and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
6.Entries for the promotion open on 10/9/10 and close at 11:59pm (AEDST) on 15/11/10. All entries must be received by the promoter by 11:59pm (AEDST) on 15/11/10.
7.There will be three Apple iPad 16GB with WIFI prizes to be won. Each prize is valued at $629.
8.Total prize pool is valued at $1,887.
9.The draw will take place at Greeneagle Distribution & Fulfilment, Unit 10, 20-28 Ricketty Street, Mascot NSW 2020 on 25/11/10 at 3:00pm (AEDST). The first three valid entries drawn will each win the prize.
10.Winners will be notified by telephone and confirmed by mail by 29/11/10 and their names will be published in The Australian newspaper on 2/12/10.
11.Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission.
12.Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid.
13.Only one entry permitted per person.
14.Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
15.Prize values are in Australian dollars and are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct as at 24/06/10.The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable state regulation.
16.Should a prize for the promotion remain unclaimed as at 3:00pm (AEDST) on 25/2/11, the promoter may conduct a further draw as is necessary in order to distribute the prize at Greeneagle Distribution & Fulfilment, Unit 10, 20-28 Ricketty Street, Mascot NSW 2020 on 25/2/11 at 3:00pm (AEDST). The winner of this draw will have their name published in The Australian newspaper on 4/3/11.
17.The promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence). Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.
18.It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
19.The promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
20.If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the promoter, the promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
21.Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these terms and conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
22.The promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into. Failure by the promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
23.The promoter may require the winners from the promotion to partake in reasonable media exposure, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing and publicity without any further reference, payment or other compensation.
24.All entries become the property of the promoter and entrant's personal details will be stored at the promoter's address. The winner’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments as required by law. The promoter may also use and disclose personal information for the purpose of providing you with information concerning its range of financial products and services.
