Competition - Term and Conditions
1. These terms and conditions relate to all Muse – Plug It In Baby competitions featured within the Channel [V]
(XYZ Networks), Video Hits (Network Ten) and FasterLouder (Sound Alliance Pty Ltd) media outlets, including but
not limited to print outlets, television broadcasts and website promotions.
2. Promoted by Creative Festival Entertainment Pty Ltd ABN 33 098 183 281, Level One, 4 Osborne St, South
Yarra, Victoria 3141 .By entering the competition, entrants shall be deemed to agree with these Conditions of
Entry.
3. Eligible participants will be required to provide their own name, address, postcode and telephone number to
complete their entry. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. If the entrant is under the age
of 18 years they must have parental or legal guardian approval to enter the competition and the prize will be
awarded to their parent or legal guardian to supervise.
4. Competitions commence on Friday November 5th 2010 at 17.00pm (Melbourne local time) and conclude at
17:00pm (Melbourne local time) on Friday November 26th 2010.
5. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer
virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control
of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this
promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to extend the duration of the competition, and also
to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
6. Employees and their immediate families of Channel [V] (XYZ Networks), Video Hits (Network Ten)
FasterLouder (Sound Alliance Pty Ltd) and Creative Festival Entertainment Pty Ltd and all related bodies
corporate and their agencies and companies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter.
7. Only one major prize per person and one runner up prize per person will be awarded per state (Qld, NSW, Vic,
WA). The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity and proof of residency at time
of prize collection. Entrants are allowed to enter through one media outlet. Multiple or duplicate entries will be
disqualified.
8. The personal information submitted on the entry form is collected by the Promoter and will only be used to
enter you in this competition and for the distribution of prizes. Personal information supplied by entrants maybe
provided to related bodies corporate or agencies for the sole purpose of conducting the competitions, unless
otherwise specified.
9. Prizes are detailed under the appropriate heading within the respective media outlets.
10. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
11. Prize does not include travel costs, transfers or incidentals. Entrants must be able to attend the Muse concert
in their local city on the date nominated.
12. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited
to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s,
except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
13. The Promoter and its agencies and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for
change of date, venue or cancellation of shows nor the unavailability of prizes.
14. Winners in each state will be chosen on merit on Friday 26th November 2010 by Creative Festival
Entertainment Pty Ltd, Level One, 4 Osborne St, South Yarra, Victoria. Winners will be notified electronically and
provided with prize collection details.
15. The Judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
16. By entering the competition the contestant is consenting that both the sound and video footage submitted for
entry can be replayed on the aforesaid Media outlets for public broadcast and promotion at the Promoter’s
discretion without financial renumeration. All entries become the property of Creative Festival Entertainment Pty
Ltd ABN 33 098 183 281, Level One, 4 Osborne St, South Yarra, Victoria 3141, and as such any further claim or
copyright by the entrant is negated.
