Terms and Conditions

The Age ‘Cuisine’Campaign Terms and Conditions
 1.             The promoter is The Age Company Ltd A.B.N. 85 004 262 702 (The Age).
2.             Details on how to enter form part of the terms and conditions.
3.             The promotion runs from Tuesday 19 October until Wednesday 15 December 2010.
4.             All prices quoted are inclusive of GST and all savings based on newsstand prices.
5.             Subscriptions to this promotional offer have a minimum commitment of 3 months (12 weeks). Pro rata refunds are available for subscribers who have paid 52 weekends up front. Pro-rata refunds are not available with Direct Debit subscriptions. Pro-rata refund amounts of less than $10, will not be refunded.

6.   Delivery will start on a Saturday.
7.   Allow up to 10 working days for processing.
8.   Offer valid only in Victoria where normal 7 day home delivery exists, some areas excluded.
9.   Offer may be discontinued with notice to the customer (with a pro-rata refund) where distribution services cease to be available.
10.  A separate delivery fee may be incurred by the customer in some rural areas.
11.  Subscribers in non-metro areas will not receive The Age (Melbourne) Magazine or Sport & Style magazine.
12.   A $30 cancellation fee may apply for early termination of all other subscriptions at the discretion of The Age.
13.   Holiday suspensions will be at the discretion of The Age and limited to those considered reasonable within a subscription term with at least 48 hours advance notice. For further guidance on The Age's cancellation, refund and suspension policies please call 13 66 66.

14. The complimentary “three-issue subscription to Cuisine” includes three (3) issues of Cuisine magazine (valued at $8.50 each) which will be delivered in accordance with Cuisine’s standard bi-monthly (once every 2 months) delivery to the nominated address that your weekend subscription of The Age is delivered to.

15. Issues received will be the Dec/Jan, Feb/Mar 11 and Apr/May 11 issues. Your first issue can be expected in mid to late December.
         
 By taking up this offer you consent to your delivery address being forwarded to Cuisine (Fairfax) for your 3 issues to be fulfilled. You may be contacted by Cuisine with reference to your trial subscription. 17. All new subscribers will automatically go into the draw to win the trip for two to New Zealand.


18.Prize terms and conditions are as follows:
·         The competition is open from Tuesday 19 October at 12:01am to Wednesday 15 December, 2010 at 11:59pm.
·         Winner must be over the age of 18.
·         The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be sold or redeemed for cash.
·         The prize must be taken in its entirety and must be redeemed by 26 June, 2011 or prize will be considered forfeited.
·         Prize is subject to suite availability and must be booked a minimum of four (4) weeks in advance
·         Any additional incidental charges outside of the details listed below are the responsibility of the prize winner.
·         A valid passport and any related visas is the responsibility of the winner and their guest.
·         In the event of cancellation your prize booking booking may be forfeited.


19. Entry into the competition can be made by Victorian residents who;
a)      Respond to the competition subscription offer from The Age and subsequently purchase a new 52 weekend subscription via upfront payment or a new ongoing weekend Direct Debit subscription (at $208 for a 52 weekend subscription or $15.99 every 4 weeks for an ongoing weekend Direct Debit subscription) for the first time between from Tuesday 19 October at 12:01am to Wednesday 15 December, 2010 at 11:59pm. New subscribers will gain automatic entry into the competition upon receipt of a valid subscription order.

b)      All current 52 weekend or ongoing weekend Direct Debit subscribers can enter online at www.subscribers.theage.com.au or call 1800 060 030 to enter the competition.
·        The offer can be taken up and competition entered into by calling 13 66 66 (opening hours 7am – 5pm Monday – Friday, 7am – 2pm Saturday and 7am – Midday Sunday) no later than Wednesday 15 December, 2010 at 11:59pm or by subscribing online at intheage.com.au/cuisine.
·        One subscription purchase constitutes one entry to win the prize. Limit of one entry per subscriber.

20.          The competition does not apply to any other subscription offers made by The Age or related corporations within the meaning of the Corporations Law.


21.To be eligible to claim the prize, the winner must hold a current 52 weekend or weekend ongoing Direct Debit subscription directly with The Age Company Limited at the time of the draw.

22.          The prize consists of:
·         2 x return airfares to New Zealand
·         4 x nights accommodation for two in a luxury suite at Matakauri Lodge including:
o        Breakfast for two each day
o        Gourmet dinner for two each night
o        Pre-dinner cocktail hour
·         2 x spa treatments at Matakauri Lodge Spa
·         2 x DartRiver jet boat safaris
·         Return airport transfers

23.Total prize value is $9791.22 including GST. The value of this prize is correct as at time of printing.
24.The Age accepts no liability for loss or injury arising from the competition winner redeeming the prize.
25. Entrants will be invited to subscribe to receive additional information about Cuisine. The decision by entrants to grant or withhold their consent in relation to the use of their information for marketing purposes will not affect the selection of the winner.

26.The draw will take place at 10 am on Monday 20 December, 2010 at The Age, Level 4, 655 Collins Street, Docklands, VIC, 3008.

27. The winner will be randomly selected
28. The winner will be notified by mail and phone and a Public Notice will appear in The Age on Saturday 4 January, 2011.
29.  Employees of Fairfax Media and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
30.   Entries will remain the property of The Age.
