YSL Competition - Terms & Conditions

1.Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Entry is via email.
2.Entry is open to all Australian permanent residents 18 years or over. Employees and their immediate families of L'Oreal Australia, The V Project and printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3.The promotion commences on 18th November 2010 at 9:00am (AEDST) and concludes on 25th December 2010 at 11:59pm (AEDST).
4.Participants must register their personal details and must respond to a question with a 25 word or less answer to complete the entry process.
5.Entrants can only enter in their own name and use their own email address. The Promoter and/or L'Oreal Australia reserve the right to request winners to provide proof of age, identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter and/or L'Oreal Australia. The Promoter and/or L'Oreal Australia reserve the right to validate and check the authenticity of any prize claim or entry before awarding a prize.
6.Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. Entries not fully complying with these Terms and Conditions may be deemed invalid at the Promoter and/or L'Oreal Australia. The Promoter and L'Oreal Australia are not responsible for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
7.The major prize element of this competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the major prize winners. Each valid major prize entry will be based on the most creative 3 word answer provided by the entrant once they have registered. By entering this competition, entrants:

a.consent to L'Oreal Australia making copies of or publishing the whole or any part of their entry and any rights in relation to the entry, to publicise this competition or for any other purposes; and
b.undertake to L'Oreal Australia that their entry is not, and its use by L'Oreal Australia will not be, in breach of any third party intellectual property rights.
8.Prizes:

a.The best 5 valid entries as determined by the judges, will win a Grand Prize of YSL Christmas Fragrance set valued at $120.
b.There will also be 10 x Runner Up prizes of the Parisienne Eau de Parfume 50ml valued at $120 each.
9.The winning entries will be drawn on the 5th January 2011.
10.The winner(s) will be notified in writing by email.
11.Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If any of the prizes, or element of the prizes are unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter and/or L'Oreal Australia reserve the right to substitute that prize, or element of a prize, for an item of equal or greater value as determined by the Promoter and/or L'Oreal Australia, subject to state regulation and subsequent approval.
12.Programming and other quality control errors will not invalidate an other-wise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these conditions of entry, all valid prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured.
13.In the event that (for any reason whatsoever) a winner does not take a prize, or an element of a prize, at the time stipulated by the Promoter and/ or L'Oreal Australia, then that prize, or element of that prize, will be forfeited by that winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu.
14.In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed within 4 weeks of the draw, the prize winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and L'Oreal Australia reserves the right to conduct such further draws at 10am AEST on 10th February 2011 at The V Project Pty Ltd, Top Floor, 30-32 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2010 to distribute the unclaimed prize (subject to any directions given under applicable law).
15.The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. Prize values are GST inclusive and are in Australian dollars and are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter and L'Oreal Australia accept no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
