GENERAL CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES/FREE
PRIZE DRAW
1. HOST/SPONSOR
The "Party Week-end in Vegas" sweepstakes/free prize draw is hosted and sponsored
by Cirque du Soleil (US), Inc., 980 Kelly Johnson Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA,
89119 (“Cirque”). Cirque shall be responsible for the sweepstakes/free prize draw, its
organization and its Official Rules (as defined below). By entering the sweepstakes/free
prize draw, Entrants (as defined below) agree to be bound by these Official Rules.
Complaints about the sweepstakes/free prize draw can be filed at
www.cirquedusoleil.com/contest. The complaint will be handled by e-mail within
fourteen (14) week days.
2. PERIOD
You can participate in the sweepstakes/free prize draw by entering between
Wednesday November 17, 2010, 03:00 PM (Central European Time) and Sunday
January 9, 2011, 23:59 PM (Pacific Standard Time) (“Game Period”). The
sweepstakes/free prize draw is subject to the following general conditions (“Official
Rules”).
3. AUTHORIZATION TO PARTICIPATE
You may only participate if:
- you are a resident of Canada, the United States, Switzerland, France, Germany,
Austria, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Australia (excluding the residents of
New South Wales and South Australia) and New Zealand, and
- you have reached the age of majority in your state/region/province/country at the
time you enter the sweepstakes/free prize draw, and
- you are a member of Cirque Club at the time you enter the sweepstakes/free
prize draw .
You may not participate, however, if you are:
- a director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to the
advertising or promotion agency or any other person directly taking part in the

organization of the sweepstakes/free prize draw or any other person who directly
or indirectly controls or is controlled by such person;
- a supplier of goods or services in connection with the sweepstakes/free prize
draw;
- an employee, agent or representative of Cirque or of one of its subsidiaries or
affiliates, or
- a member of the immediate family (father, mother, brothers, sisters, children,
spouse) or a person residing with any of the aforementioned persons.
No participation via raffle agencies or automated entry software is admissible.
4. ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES/FREE PRIZE DRAW
No purchase necessary.
Actual member
If you are already a Cirque Club member and have reached the age of majority
according to the laws of your state/region/province/country at the time you enter the
sweepstakes/free prize draw (“Actual Members”), you may enter by logging into the
following website: www.cirquedusoleil.com/partyweekendinvegas, entering your actual
Cirque Club member login information, providing the correct answer to the ability
question: “Which Cirque du Soleil show is currently playing at the Bellagio?” and
completing the registration form (“Registration Form”).
New member
To enter the promotion, it is mandatory that you become a member of Cirque Club
before the end of the Game Period. If you are not a member and wish to become a
Cirque Club member (“New Member”), you may access and complete the electronic
Registration Form available at: www.cirqueclub.com by entering your first and last
name, complete address, country, postal code, phone number, age and e-mail address
(collectively “Personal Information”). After becoming a member, you may enter the
sweepstakes/free prize draw through the Cirque Club page at:
www.cirquedusoleil.com/partyweekendinvegas by submitting your Registration Form by
the end of the Game Period.
Actual Members and New Members who have duly completed the Registration Form
shall be referred to collectively as the “Entrants” or individually as an “Entrant”.

Entrants must at all times use the same e-mail address. The use of more than one (1)
e-mail address by an individual will result in automatic disqualification of that individual.
5. ODDS OF WINNING
Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the
Game Period.
6. PRIZE
Among all valid registrations in all participating countries (see above section3), one (1)
prize will be awarded, subject to the conditions below, consisting of:
- Two (2) tickets to see two (2) Cirque du Soleil shows of winner’s choice in Las
Vegas, subject to availability during Redemption Period (as defined below) (link
to see available show dates: http://www.cirquedusoleil.com), valued
approximately at US$400 (in total);
- VIP access for two (2) people to the Beatles Revolution Lounge and the Gold
Lounge, valued approximately at US$200;
- Round trip economy airfare for two (2) people from the airport closest to winner’s
residence to Las Vegas, USA, having an approximate retail value not to exceed
US$2,800;
- Two (2) hotel night accommodations at the Aria Hotel at CityCenter located in
Las Vegas, USA (double occupancy in standard guest room), valued at US$400
(in total);
- A VIP gift bag, approximately US$100.
Other costs then particularly mentioned above (e.g. transportation to and from
airport, meals and beverages etc.) are not included in the prize
(collectively “Prize”).
The total retail value of the Prize is approximately US$3,900, depending on the dates
and availability at the time the Prize is awarded. No compensation will be awarded to
the winner or his/her guest if the value of the Prize is less than the approximate retail
value hereinabove mentioned.

Conditions applicable to the Prize:
Subject to availability, the winner (“Winner”) may choose the dates of flights and of the
shows provided that these dates are no earlier than February 11, 2011 and no later
than December 31, 2011 (“Redemption Period”). The Winner has to announce to
Cirque the dates he/she has chosen, using the following contact details:

Should no flight seats or seats for the shows or no hotel rooms as detailed above be
available at one (1) of the chosen dates, the Winner has to choose other dates. If the
Winner does not announce a valid choice of dates to Cirque by letter using the above
mentioned contact details within seven (7) days (deadline for the postmark) from
receiving the winning notification (section 7) and – in case the chosen dates are not
available – within seven (7) days (deadline for the postmark) from receiving a
notification from Cirque stating this, the Prize will be forfeited and Cirque is entitled to
draw another Winner. No Prize substitution or cash redemption by the Winner is
possible. The Prize is not transferable. Cirque reserves the right to substitute a prize of
equal or greater value if any portion featured in the Prize becomes unavailable.
The guest accompanying the Winner must have reached eighteen (18) years of age.
Travel arrangements shall be made by Cirque at least twenty-one (21) days prior to
selected travel dates. The Winner and his/her guest must travel together. The Winner
must give Cirque the name appearing on his/her passport or on his/her identification
paper used to travel, as well as the name and contact information of his/her guest.
Once the arrangements are completed, no modifications will be accepted. Any visa
requirements are the sole responsibility of the Winner and his/her guest.
The value allocated to the traveling expenses included in the total value of the Prize
may vary depending on the point and dates of travel. No compensation will be awarded
to the Winner or his/her guest if the actual value of the traveling expenses is less than
the allocation set forth above.

All seat locations to the shows are subject to availability and seats shall be determined
at the sole discretion of Cirque. Selected performances are subject to blackout dates,
holidays and show extended dark periods.
If the Prize or any part of the Prize is not used, no compensation will be awarded to the
Winner and his/her guest.
All federal, state or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
7. DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION OF THE WINNER; NOTIFICATION OF OTHER
PARTICIPANTS
The Winner will be selected in a computer generated random drawing among all
eligible and compliant registration received before the end of the Game Period. The
random drawings will be conducted by a representative of Cirque at Cirque’s
International Headquarter at 8400, 2nd Avenue, Montreal, Quebec, H1Z 4M6, Canada
on January 12, 2011 at 3 PM Eastern Standard Time. The Winner will be notified by
telephone or by e-mail.
The outcome of the drawing will be published by Cirque on
www.cirquedusoleil.com/contest by no later than January 31, 2011.
In the event the Winner is unreachable or fails to comply with the Official Rules and
conditions for eligibility, the Winner will forfeit Prize. In the event the Prize is forfeited as
aforementioned, another Winner will be selected in a computer generated random
drawing among all eligible and compliant registrations received before the end of the
Game Period.
8. PRIZE TRANSFER
No later than twenty-one (21) business days following Cirque’s receipt of the Winner’s
choice of dates: (i) the Prize will be sent to the Winner, by mail or e-mail for the
airplane tickets; by mail, e-mail or at the box office for the shows tickets; by mail for the
gift bag; by mail or e-mail for the VIP access; by mail or e-mail for the written
confirmation of the hotel accommodation.
9. PUBLICATION OF INFORMATION CONCERNING THE WINNER
By participating in the sweepstakes/free prize draw, you explicitly agree to Cirque
publishing your name, likeness, city of residence and statement concerning the Prize

without compensation in any publicity carried out by Cirque, and for any required
disclosures without your consent (“Declaration Form”). The selected Entrant for the
Prize may be required to furnish photographic identification in the form of a
government-issued document. The Declaration Form must also be signed by the
selected Entrant's guest before departure.
Failure of the Winner to meet any of the abovementioned conditions will result in the
Winner’s automatic disqualification and loss of entitlement to his or her Prize. In such
event, Cirque shall have the right to draw or select another Entrant as described in
section 7 until the Winner has been determined and qualified.
10. DISQUALIFICATION
Entrants not abiding by the Official Rules may be disqualified by Cirque.
11. LIMITS OF LIABILITY; DISCLAIMERS
BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES/FREE PRIZE DRAW, ENTRANTS AGREE TO
BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES, AND AGREE TO RELEASE CIRQUE, ITS
EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND REPRESENTATIVES, ITS SUBSIDIARIES, ITS
AFFILIATED COMPANIES, ITS CONTROLLING CORPORATIONS, ADVERTISING
OR PROMOTION AGENCIES, SPONSORS, SUPPLIERS OF MATERIALS, PRIZES
AND SERVICES RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES/FREE PRIZE DRAW, OR ANY
OTHER PERSON DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE HOLDING OF THE
SWEEPSTAKES/FREE PRIZE DRAW (“RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM ANY AND
ALL LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND THAT
RESULT FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION OR USE OF ANY PRIZE OR FROM
ENTRY OR ATTEMPTED ENTRY INTO THE SWEEPSTAKES/FREE PRIZE DRAW
UNLESS THE DAMAGE OF THE ENTRANT IS CAUSED BY GROSS NEGLIGENCE
OR WILFUL INTENT OF A RELEASED PARTY. THE RELEASED PARTIES ASSUME
NO LIABILITY FOR LOST OR MISDIRECTED ENTRIES, WHETHER DUE TO
TECHNICAL OR COMPUTER MALFUNCTIONS OR OTHERWISE OR ANY OTHER
TECHNICAL OR COMPUTER MALFUNCTIONS, FRAUD, OR OTHER ERRORS.
CIRQUE RESERVES THE RIGHT, AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION, TO CANCEL,
TERMINATE OR SUSPEND THE SWEEPSTAKES/FREE PRIZE DRAW IN ITS
ENTIRETY, IN THE EVENT THAT THE WEBSITE IS INFECTED BY A VIRUS, A
SOFTWARE BUT, THE WEBSITE IS HACKED, UNAUTHORIZED HUMAN

INTERVENTION OCCURS OR THE INTEGRITY, ADMINISTRATION, IMPARTIALITY
OR NORMAL OPERATION OF THE DRAW IS COMPROMISED IN ANY WAY.
12. PERSONAL INFORMATION RETENTION RULES FOR FREE PRIZE DRAW
When entering the sweepstakes/free prize draw, the Entrants agree that their personal
Information collected by Cirque shall be used in accordance with applicable law: (i) in
order for Cirque or its agent to contact the Entrants for the purposes of the
sweepstakes/free prize draw; and (ii) for marketing and promotional purposes in
connection with Cirque du Soleil activities. The Entrant’s Personal Information shall not
be used for any other purposes unless expressly agreed otherwise by Entrant.
In compliance with the personal data protection legislation in force, you are informed
and you expressly consent the incorporation of your Personal Information into Cirque’s
database located in Montreal, Canada and its automatic treatment for the
abovementioned purposes.
Cirque has adopted the technical and organizational measures necessary to ensure
the security of the personal Information and prevent their alteration, loss, unauthorized
processing or access, having regard to the state of the technologic development.
At any time you may revoke your consent and exercise your rights of objection,
access, rectification and cancellation addressing your notice to Cirque du Soleil (US),
Inc., 980 Kelly Johnson Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 89119. Please, for your
convenience and to hold our databases up to date, kindly notify us any change in your
Personal Information.
13. ADDITIONAL TERMS FOR PARTICIPANTS RESIDING IN FRANCE ONLY
Free participation: Telecommunication and access expenses corresponding to the
time of connection on the sweepstakes/free prize draw have been evaluated at a lump
sum of EUR 0.50 per entry and shall be reimbursed to any Entrant who requests it,
provided that a valid proof of the corresponding expenses is provided with such
request. Requests must be sent in writing by the Entrant to: Cirque du Soleil (US), Inc.,
Attn.: Chantal Ouellet, 980 Kelly Johnson Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 89119,
within fifteen (15) days from the end of the sweepstakes/free prize draw as stated in
section 2 (deadline for the postmark) and supplying his/her bank details (RIB). The

stamps used for the reimbursement request at the normal rate may also be
reimbursed upon written request to the same address within the same deadline.
Claiming the prize without consent to publication of personal details: If the
Winner resides in France, he/she is entitled to claim the Prize even if he/she does not
wish to have his/her personal details published for publicity purposes according to
section 9. Cirque will not use his/her personal information for such purposes without
Winner’s explicit consent after the draw.
Filing: These Official Rules have been filed with Maître Jean-Louis Hauguel huissier,
located at14 rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, 75008 Paris, France. They will be sent at
no expense upon simple request made at the following address: Cirque du Soleil (US),
Inc, Attn.: Chantal Ouellet, 980 Kelly Johnson Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 89119.
Postage expenses at the normal rate will be reimbursed upon request made at the
same address.
14. ADDITIONAL TERMS FOR PARTICIPANTS RESIDING IN THE PROVINCE OF
QUEBEC, CANADA ONLY
A Quebec resident participant may submit a complaint: (i) concerning the
sweepstakes/free prize draw for a ruling or (ii) concerning the awarding of a prize to
help settle the complaint, to the Régie des alcohols, des courses et des jeux.

OF AMERICA ONLY

You may, after becoming a Cirque Club member, also enter using the following method
(“Alternative Method of Entry”):
