THE MYER CENTRE VIP NIGHT – VIP PRIZE GIVEAWAY (‘Promotion’)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on how to participate in the Promotion forms part of these terms and conditions. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. The promoter of this Promotion is Colonial First State Asset Management Pty Ltd (ABN 39 060 482 635) at Roof Level, 91 Queen Street, Brisbane Queensland 4000. Telephone: 07 3223 6900 ('Promoter').
3. The Promotion commences at 5.00pm on Tuesday 23 November 2010 and concludes at 8:00pm on Tuesday 23 November 2010 ('Promotional Period').
4. The Promotion is being run at The Myer Centre, 91 Queen Street, Brisbane QLD 4000 (referred to as Centre’)
5. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Officers, management, employees and immediate families of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies and contractors, participating retailers at the Centre and any other agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to participate. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, exspouse, defacto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, stepgrandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin.
6. People can enter the competition by one of two ways. The first is for existing VIP members. Existing VIP members may enter the Promotion by completing their details on the VIP invitation to the event, and putting their entry into the barrel on level Q, which is eligible for one entry into the draw. The invitation can be received in the mail or the invitation can be downloaded from The Myer Centre website. The second is by signing up to The Myer Centre VIP database on the night of Tuesday 23 November at The Myer Centre. Entry forms can then be placed in the entry barrel on level Q, which is eligible for one entry into the draw.
7. A maximum of one (1) entry will be awarded per person per day.
8. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of gift claims and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits a gift claim that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
9. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
10. The nominated gifts are – prize 1 is a Men’s Marc Jacobs BANG Fragrance valued at $135 and a Women’s Gucci Guilty Fragrance valued at $149. Prize 2 is a Wayne Cooper Bag and Clutch valued at $279. Prize 3 is a pair of Chanel Bow Sunglasses valued at $410. Prize 4 is an Apple Ipad valued at $629. Prize 5 is a Swarovski crystal necklace valued at $850. The total prize pool is valued at $2,452. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the gifts are not included. Gifts will only be given out during the specified time frame.
11. Entry into prize 1 commences at 5:00pm and concludes at 5.55pm. The prize 1 will be draw at 6:00pm on Tuesday 23 November 2010. The winner must be present at the time of drawing the winner to be eligible. If the winner is not present at the time of drawing, a redraw will occur immediately.
12. Entry into prize 2 commences at 6.05pm and concludes at 6.25pm. The prize 2 will be drawn at 6:30pm on Tuesday 23 November 2010. The winner must be present at the time of drawing the winner to be eligible. If the winner is not present at the time of drawing, a redraw will occur immediately.
13. Entry into prize 3 commences at 6:35pm and concludes at 6.55pm. The prize 3 will be drawn at 7:00pm on Tuesday 23 November 2010. The winner must be present at the time of drawing the winner to be eligible. If the winner is not present at the time of drawing, a redraw will occur immediately.
14. The entry into prize 4 commences at 7:05pm and concludes at 7:25pm. The prize 4 will be drawn at 7:30pm on Tuesday 23 November 2010. The winner must be present at the time of drawing the winner to be eligible. If the winner is not present at the time of drawing, a redraw will occur immediately.
15. The entry into prize 5 commences at 7:35pm and concludes at 7:55pm. The prize 5 will be drawn at 8:00pm on Tuesday 23 November 2010. The winner must be present at the time of drawing the winner to be eligible. If the winner is not present at the time of drawing, a redraw will occur immediately.
16. The winner will collect their prize immediately after the prize is drawn on Tuesday 23 November 2010.
17. If the gift is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the gift or If stocks of the gift are interrupted then the Promoter may opt to deliver the gift to the entrant at a later date.
18. Gifts, or any unused portion of a gift, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
19. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
20. By participating in the Promotion, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Promotion, or using or permitting any other person to use the gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.
21. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, gift suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Participation is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic or mail messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
