Competition overview:
This overview forms part of the general Terms and Conditions for GOLD104.3’S
VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS TREE (competition). The promoter is ARN BROADCASTING
PTY LTD T/AS RADIO GOLD 104.3. GOLD104.3’s Virtual Christmas Tree will air on
GOLD104.3 Melbourne.
A ‘Virtual Christmas Tree’ will be uploaded to www.gold1043.com.au. The Christmas
Tree will hold a total of fifty (50) numbered baubles. Listeners will have the chance to
win by matching the prizes hidden beneath numbered baubles in a memory style
challenge. Each hour of contesting a listener will get the chance to select two
numbered baubles, and if the prize under each matches they win that prize instantly.
Once a prize has been matched, the Virtual Christmas Tree online will be updated to
reveal the two numbered baubles correctly guessed and the prize.
Listeners will be required to listen out across the day for the cue to call 9414 1043
and be the nominated caller through (call costs 55c from local landline, costs may
increase for mobile phone service). The listener will nominate two numbered baubles
(between one and fifty). If the same prize is under each numbered bauble, they
instantly win the prize. The announcer will always reveal what is under each chosen
numbered bauble nominated. As listeners tune in across the competition, it will
become easier to match up the prizes, as more and more corresponding prizes are
revealed. If the listener does not correctly identify a match, they will be awarded a
consolation prize of a Bertocchi Ham.
Listeners will also be able to download a copy of the Virtual Christmas Tree to help
them play along. As each bauble prize is revealed, they will be able to write down the
prize on the corresponding bauble.
Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter is ARN BROADCASTING PTY LTD T/AS RADIO GOLD
104.3. ABN 32 067 769 466, Level 2, 21-31 Goodwood Street, Richmond,
3121.
2. The Radio Station is GOLD 104.3FM.
3. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these terms and
conditions. Any general competition rules or terms and conditions of the
Radio Station do not apply to this Promotion.
4. This requires listeners to listen to GOLD104.3 for the nominated
promotional period to help identify matching baubles.

5. Any entry which does not comply with these terms and conditions is
invalid.
6. Entry is open to residents of Victoria. Employees of the Promoter or its
associated companies, employees of any agencies, affiliates, sponsors,
sub-sponsors or representatives of the Promoter and the immediate
families of any such employees are not eligible to enter. Any person who
has won a prize valued at $1,000 or more from the Promoter, or the Radio
Station, in any promotion within the past three months, is ineligible to enter.
7. The Promotion commences Friday 26th November 2010 and concludes on
Friday 10th December 2010, or until all 25 (25) prizes have been won and
awarded "whichever occurs first". Entrants will have a minimum of 4
chances to win each day between 9am and 4pm (mon –fri). Solicits to call
to 9414 1043 (call costs 55c from local landline, costs may increase for
mobile phone service) will run at random times throughout the promotional
days.
8. To enter this Promotion, listeners will be required to listen out across the
day until they hear the on air cue to call to be the nominated caller through
to 9414 1043. The successful caller through will be asked which baubles
they would like to match by the announcer. The announcer will then reveal
what prize is under each bauble. If the prizes don’t match, the listener will
receive a consolation prize. If the same prize is under each nominated
numbered bauble, that prize will be awarded. Once a listener correctly
matches a prize from two nominated numbered baubles, those numbers
can no longer be selected. If a caller through does nominate a number
already awarded, they will be reminded that number is no longer in play
and asked to pick again.
9. Participants will are not limited in the attempts at entry, however any form
of automated entry using any other devices or software (not previously
specified) is invalid.
10. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter.
The Promoter is not responsible for failure to receive any entry for any
cause beyond its control.
11. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that:
(a) he or she may be required by the Promoter, in its absolute
discretion, to:
(i) participate in promotional activities for the benefit of the
Promoter (including participating in a sound recording,
photograph, video or film session); and
(ii) that he or she will not, without the prior written consent of
the Promoter (which may be given or withheld in its absolute
discretion) participate in any other media activities,
promotions or events for the purpose of or which involve
discussion, commenting on, expressing a view or giving an
account of the Promotion, the Promoter, its related bodies
corporate or the operations of the Promoter and its related
bodies corporate; and
(b) in promotional activities referred to in Clause 16(a)(i) and (ii) he/she
will express a positive view of the Promoter and its operations and
refrain from expressing a negative or disparaging view of the

Promoter, its related bodies corporate or the operations of the
Promoter or its related bodies corporate.
12. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter has the right to
use any materials generated in connection with the Promotion in any
medium and in any manner it sees fit.
13. Total prize pool is valued at $11,482 and includes-

Prizes are not transferable. Prize values are correct at the time of printing but no
responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
14. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or
consequential loss or damage, or personal injury suffered during the
course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability that cannot
be excluded by law.
15. A winner may be required to sign a waiver of liability and indemnity in
favour of the Promoter in respect of a prize, in the form determined by the
Promoter.
16. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in
accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy which can be viewed at the
website of the Radio Station at www.gold1043.com.au.
17. If a winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the
winner’s parent or guardian on their behalf.
18. All decisions made by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will
be entered into.
19. Prizes will only be delivered in Australia and winners should allow 28 days
from prize draw for delivery of their prize.
20. Subject to the approval required by any relevant gaming or lotteries
authority, if any prize item is unavailable despite the Promoter’s reasonable
endeavours to procure it in Australia, the Promoter may substitute a
different prize item of equal or greater value.
21. If the Promotion is not able to be run as planned, whether caused by
computer virus, line drop-out or congestion, tampering, unauthorised
intervention, fraud, technical failures or other cause beyond the control of
the Promoter which affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity
of the Promotion, the Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend
the Promotion. The Promoter may disqualify any individual who tampers
with the entry process.

22. All winners will be notified live on-air and in writing. Major winners (25) will
be printed in the Herald Sun on Monday 20th December 2010.
