Royal Pines Golf Challenge The RAA is giving members the chance to represent the RAA in the Australian Auto Club Golf Challenge at the Royal Pines resort in Queensland. Can you supply a current 6 months handicap history? Terms & Conditions: Royal Pines Golf Challenge 1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry. 2. All employees of the promoter and its related bodies corporate are ineligible to enter. 3. Eligibility criteria applies: a. Entrants must be full financial RAA members b. Open to both male and females with a current Golf Link Handicap c. Winners must submit 6 month’s handicap history on entering the competition d. Winners must be available for the proposed tournament date period e. Entrant must be aged 18 or over as at 6th February 2011 4. The competition commences on 26th November 2010 and finishes on 6th December 2010. 5. The tournament will run from the 7th – 10th February 2011 6. The competition consists of three prizes in total. Each prize consists of the chance to participate in the Pro-Am Golf Tournament for a single person. Each of the three winners will receive: a. 3 nights accommodation including breakfast at Royal Pines Resort Queensland b. Golf rounds c. Tournament pack (polo, cap and golf balls) d. Welcome dinner 1st evening e. Cocktails 2nd evening f. Return airfares specified by RAA g. Royal Pines Resort arranged Airport transfers Total value of each prize is $1,600 7. Detailed prizes listed above are based on a single participant. The option for one partner/supporter to attend per prize winner is available at an additional cost to the winner. This cost will be $370 and will cover shared accommodation, breakfast, official dinners & cocktails only. 8. Flight carrier and flight times will be at the RAA’s discretion. 9. All other incidental costs are the responsibility of the winner. 10. Travel insurance is not provided by the RAA and is at the winner’s expense. 11. All prize values are in Australian dollars. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. Total prize pool value $4,800. 12. Winners agree to abide by the Pro-Am Golf Challenge Terms & Conditions. 13. To enter members must click the link featured in the RAA Travel E-Newsletter, sent on the 26th November 2010. By clicking on this link you will be taken to an online entry form which is to be filled out and submitted by clicking the submit button. Limited to one entry per member. 14. The draw will take place at the RAA, 101 Richmond Rd, Mile End at 10am on 8th December 2010. The draw will use a lotteries approved random draw process. 15. The members drawn that fulfil the competition entry criteria will win the prizes. 16. The winning member will be notified by phone or mail and the result posted on the RAA website www.raa.com.au on 9th December 2010. 17. The prize is non-transferable Due to the nature of the prize, if the prize is unclaimed or the prize winner cannot be contacted or does not meet the specified criteria, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted on December 11th 2010 All unclaimed draws will take place at 101 Richmond Road, Mile End, South Australia at 10:00am. 18. The winner agrees to make themself available for publicity opportunities at the discretion of the promoter for a period of three months after the collection of the prizes. 19. The promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 20. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 21. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for: (i) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information; (ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, sent with insufficient postage (where entry is by post), or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions; (iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software; (iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; (v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition; (vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition; (vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or (viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition. 22.
