PAUL TEMPLE COLLECTION TWO DVD GIVEAWAY Madman Entertainment / Region 4 / Released November 10, 2010 Having been a major name in British entertainment since the 1930's on radio and in book form - crime novelist turned detective Paul Temple found his perfect home on the BBC for a hugely popular series that ran from 1969 - 1971. As was the BBC's want back in the early 1970's they junked a lot of their shows, including many episodes of Paul Temple. Madman though are pulling together all the surviving episodes and this month sees the arrival of collection two and we have three copies to give away! Paul Temple (played by Francis Matthews) globe trots around the globe with his wife Stevie (Ros Drinkwater) researching his latest novel and finding themselves involved in plenty of mystery solving along the way. This very cool three disc set features 9 more episodes including three very rare "lost" episodes - all getting a worldwide debut here. There is also an audio commentary by Matthews on "Critics, Yes! But This Is Ridiculous" as well as audio introductions to each episode, there is also a nicely informative booklet. Simply marvellous! Our competition runs until December 10, 2010. Answer: Francis Durbridge Paul Temple is a British-German television series which originally aired on the BBC between 1969 and 1971. It features Francis Matthews as Paul Temple, the fictional detective created by Francis Durbridge, who solves crimes with the assistance of his wife Steve.
