Expertly Entertain with Smirnoff Promotion #2

1.The promotion is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

2.No purchase necessary to qualify for entry. Entries are submitted online at http://cranberry.smirnoff.com.au via an entry form that requires entrants to fill out their personal details and answer the question “In 25 words or less, if you oculd invite anyone to a party you were hosting, who would it be and why?” Competition entries open at 9am on 23 November 2010 and close at 6pm on 16 January 2011.
3.The Judging of eligible entries will take place at 9am on 17 January 2011 at 5/113 Reservoir St. Surry Hills NSW 2010. A panel of experts will select the best 200 entries based on their originality. The panel will consist of music expert Tim Hardaker who manages the music website inthemix.com.au and lifestyle journalist and party promoter Tim Duggan. Winners will be notified by phone and e-mail on the day of judging and will also have their names published in the news feed on the Smirnoff Australia Page on the Facebook platform at www.facebook.com/smirnoffaustralia.

4.There are 200 prizes in total. Each prize consists of a Smirnoff gift card valued at $26.99 each. The total prize pool value is $5,398.

5.The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

6.Winners must claim their prize by 1st February. In the event the winner does not claim the prize by 10:00am on the above date, the winner shall forfeit his/her prize and the next best entry, as judged by Tim Hardaker and Tim Duggan, will be awarded the prize at 2:00pm on the above date. Winners of any unclaimed prize will be notified by phone and e-mail. They will have their names published in the news feed on the Smirnoff Australia Page on the Facebook platform on the same date that their unclaimed prize is awarded.

7.The prizes will be distributed via Australia Post’s ‘Person to Person’ service to ensure that only the winner can receive the prize at their nominated address. Winners will have to show valid identification to verify that they are over 18 in order to receive the prize.

8.To the maximum extent permitted by law, the promoter shall not be liable for any loss and/or personal injury suffered by or to the winner and/or his/her friend that occurs as a result of the winner’s consumption of the prize.

9.The promoter reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion if, in its absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so, save that the promoter shall not exercise this right unreasonably, subject to any written approval from a relevant Regulatory Authority.

10.The promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.

11.This promotion and these terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts sitting in this state.

12.An entrant’s personal data will only be held for the purpose of selecting the winner and will not be used for any other purposes whatsoever without their prior permission. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the promoter at their address set out below. Entrants grant the promoter permission to communicate with them by phone and/or e-mail in order to provide details of the prize and/or instructions as to how the winner is to claim the prize and establish his/her entitlement to it.
