Create an editorial quality photograph that presents your commercial interpretation of a ‘total look’ which encapsulates your
vision for the “FACE OF LAKMÉ “ competition 2011. All participants should present a total look of MALE or FEMALE images
with wearable, commercial and high street colour & styling trends, including before and after photos of their work and the
completed Written Outline, explaining step by step the style, Lakmé colour products used, colour techniques and Lakmé
styling range used.

HOW TO ENTER:
Submit
1. Editorial quality photographs of a ‘total look’ which encapsulates your
vision for the “FACE OF LAMKÉ”. Including:
(i) 1 x before photo of your ‘total look’;
(ii) 1 x full body pose of your ‘total look’;
(iii) 1 x head and upper body portrait of your ‘total look’.
2. A written outline, step by step, of the Lakmé colour used, your own
colour techniques and Lakmé styling products used for
creating your ‘total look’.
3. A completed entry form.
4. All participants should present a total look of MALE or FEMALE images
with wearable, commercial and high street colour & styling trends,
including before and after photos of their work and the completed written
outline, explaining step by step the style, Lakmé colour products used,
your own individual colour technique and Lakmé styling range used.
All forms must be clearly written for judges assesment.
Note: All participants need to submit images as A4 Prints & on a CD as high
resolution (300dpi) JPEG at A4 print size.


Deadline for en try is 5pm, ThURS DAY 31st of March 2011.
Entry forms received after this deadline will not be accepted. Haircare
doesn’t take responsibility for lost entries and we highly encourage the use
of registered post or courier.

Terms & conditions :
1. The participant must be an employee of the same salon from
the time of entry through to the national final.
2. No employee of Haircare Australia is allowed to enter the competition.
3. Only Lakmé products may be used to create the images. If you do
not currently stock Lakmé colour, please contact our EDUCATION
D EPARTMENT ON 08 8403 8222 or 1300 437 436 to purchase your
Lakmé Colour Competition Pack and Lakmé Retail Competition Pack.
4. Throughout the competition and award announcement, photographs
cannot be used to enter into any other competition. All photographs
entered
become the property of Haircare Australia PTY LTD. Lakmé Barcelona.
5. Entry fee of $65.00 (including GST) must accompany entry form.
Payment can be made by cheque to Haircare Australia. Money orders and
credit cards, BPay or Direct Deposit.
6. All entries should include the signed agreement by all parties and the total
look description. (see pg.4)
7. Each participant may submit more then one entry. Each separate entry
must be accompanied by a completed entry form and the entry fee of
$65.00 (including GST)
8. There must be no computer enhancement or retouching of your
entry material. The use of hairpieces is not allowed. The judges will seek
professional advice and may disqualify any entry on these grounds
at their discretion.
9. Participants must submit three unframed A4 PRINTS of the images.
Photos need to be submitted in hard copy and on a CD as high resolution
(300dpi) JPEG at A4 print size.

There will be 4 finalists selected, 1 of which will go on to be
FACE OF LAKMÉ NATIONAL WINNER 2011.
All finalists will recieve;
• Face of Lakmé Trophy
• Return economy airfares to Sydney and one night’s accommodation
for 2 people on the June Long weekend; 2x tickets to the Sunday
Seminar for the Lakmé Forum and the opportunity to join the
Haircare Australia Cocktail Party where the announcement of the
national winner of FACE OF LAKMÉ 2011 will be announced.

• One year subscription to Instyle Magazine.
• A feature in the Haircare Australia Magazine.

NATI ONAL WINNER
The National Face of Lakmé winner will receive:

Barcelona, a tour organised to discover the concept
behind Lakmé products, the Lakmé factory and studio; 3 nights
accommodation in London for Salon International, 1 x 3 day ticket to
salon intternational; and $1000.00 spending money!
