TOURISM QUEENSLAND’S CHRISTMAS 2010 PROMOTION
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. You will be entered into the “Tourism Queensland’s Christmas 2010” promotion by
completing the entry form located on the website,
www.queenslandholidays.com.au between 10.00am (AEST) on Wednesday 8th
December 2010 and 11:59am (AEST) on Monday 20th December 2010.
Participants may enter once only, however for every friend referred to the
promotion, participants gain one entry into the runner-up prize draw. Entrants
will receive automatic subscription to the Queensland Holidays e-newsletter.
2. Employees and Directors of Tourism Queensland, or agencies associated with the
promotion, and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter the promotion.
Participants must be residents of Australia only. Should a prize winner be under
the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.
3. All Participants will be entered into a random draw for the following prize:
• A grand prize of a Sunlover Holiday voucher valued at $1,000.
Participants who refer a friend shall also be entered into a random draw for the
following prize:
• One of 100 1GB Queensland USB sticks, valued at $17 each
Each referral will entitle the participant to one entry into runner-up draw. (For
example: refer 3 friends receive 3 entries in the runner-up prize draw)
Total prize value: $2,700 (AUD)
4. The winners will be selected by random manual draws. The drawing of both the
grand prize and runner-up prizes will be conducted at Tourism Queensland, Level
10, 30 Makerston Street, Brisbane on Monday 20th December at 2pm (AEST).
5. The name of the prize winners will be published on the website,
http://www.queenslandholidays.com.au/travel-
tools/competitions/competitions_home.cfm once contact with the winner
has been made. Winners will be notified by email.
6. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash and is not
valid with any other offer. Prize winners will be responsible for all items of a
personal nature.
7. The Sunlover Holidays voucher is valid from 20th December 2010 to 20th
December 2011, travel to be completed by 20th December 2011. The voucher
can only be used for holiday bookings and flights made on properties that are
situated in Queensland via Sunlover Holidays. Holiday ideas are available at
www.sunloverholidays.com. Sunlover Holidays voucher and booking terms and
conditions apply to travel bookings.
8. If a prize is not claimed within 21 days of the draw, an unclaimed prize draw will
be conducted immediately.
9. Tourism Queensland accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the
prize or any variation in the prize advertised and the prize provided. The judges’
decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Each entrant
releases and indemnifies Tourism Queensland against all liability, cost, loss or
expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the promotion
including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether
direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or
otherwise.
10. By claiming a prize, the winner accepts that Tourism Queensland may use the
winner’s name and likeness for their promotional and publicity purposes.
