WIN AN IPAD WITH GULLIVER’S TRAVELS

In this contemporary re-imagining of Jonathan Swift’s classic tale, Jack Black stars as Lemuel Gulliver, a struggling writer who works as a mail delivery person at The Times. To impress the travel editor, Gulliver finally ventures into uncharted waters – on a boat bound for the Bermuda Triangle.

But the storm-tossed voyage lands him on a very different kind of island, one populated by a tiny civilization known as Lilliputians. After a rocky beginning, the gargantuan Gulliver becomes an inspiration to his new 6-inch-tall friends and they begin to learn from one another.

Leading the Lilliputians to a victory over their neighbouring island nemesis, Gulliver must still combat a mechanical giant – and come to terms with his own shortcomings – to finally emerge from his own little world. Also stars Jason Segel, Emily Blunt.

1. Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within the promotional advertisements form part of these terms and conditions.

2. The promotion commences on Friday, December 13, 2010 and closes midnight on Sunday, December 19, 2010. Only entries received by this date will be valid and entries MUST be submitted either via http://info.thewest.com.au/competitions/entry/print/index.php. Entrants must provide their name, address and daytime phone number When entering online the tick box stating terms and conditions have been read must be selected and the ‘submit’ button clicked for the entry to go through.

3. Subject to clause 12, entry is open to all residents of Western Australia over the age of 18. Photo identification will be required upon collection of the prize.

4. The winners draw will take place at 10am, Monday, Decmber 20, 2010 at The West Australian offices. The winners will be drawn randomly from all valid online and postal entries. There will beone major winner and fifty runner up winners selected at random from all valid online entries

5. The major winner will be notified by email on Monday, December 20, 2010. The runner up winners will be notified by mail.

6. The major winner will recive an iPad, valued at $629. Fifty runner ups will receive an in-season pass to Gulliver's Travels, valued at 17.50.  Total value is $1504

7. The Prize must be taken as stated and is non-transferable, not exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.

8. The West Australian takes no responsibility for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise delivery details provided by a winner. The West Australian makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability, and merchantability of any of the goods or services offered as Prizes. 9. Participation in the competition constitutes the entrant’s unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. The West Australian’s decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of the Terms and Conditions generally.

10. All personal details kept will be used only for the purpose of The West Australian to distribute marketing materials. Your details will not be given to a third party or used in any other way without your express permission. The West Australian will take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of your personal information.

11. The West Australian reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the winner has breached any of the Terms and Conditions. The winner forgoes the prize if its entry is misleading or if the winner does not adhere to the Terms and Conditions.

12. Employee’s of West Australian Newspapers Limited, their subsidiaries and immediate family are ineligible to enter.

13. The West Australian’s decision is final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into. The West Australian reserves the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.
