MURPHY'S LAW COMPLETE SERIES 1-5 PRIZE PACK DVD GIVEAWAY

Shock DVD / Region 4 / Released December 8, 2010

The fabulous James Nesbitt had the role of a lifetime in the equally fab crime drama series Murphy's Law. Shock this month are releasing all five series of the show on DVD and to celebrate they have kindly given us two sets of all five series (which are available to buy individually) for you to get your hands on!

In the gritty series Nesbitt plays undercover cop Tommy Murphy who, more often than not, pushes himself to the edge to bring the bad guys to justice. Strong plotting, strong scripts and a strong central performance from the boy Jimmy means Murphy's Law never wears out its welcome. There are also some prominent guest stars popping up too including the likes of Brian McCardie, Nadim Sawalha, Claudia Harrison, Mark Benton and Mark Womack.

For any crime drama fan Murphy's Law is definitely not to be missed.

Our competition runs until December 31, 2010. To be in with a chance to win one of two prize packs of all five series of Murphy's Law all you have to do is tell us whose novels the series is based on? Also don't forget about our rather splendid daily newsletter. If you haven't signed up for this yet then what are you waiting for, a daily hit of all the latest stories, comps, reviews, features and news happening in the world of Memorable TV.

Entries must be sent to competition@memorabletv.com and must be titled "Murphy's Law". Good Luck!

Answer: Colin Bateman

His book Murphy's Law was adapted from the BBC television series Murphy's Law (2001–2007), featuring James Nesbitt. Bateman explains on his website that "Murphy`s Law was written specifically for James Nesbitt, a local actor who became a big TV star through Cold Feet. The ninety minute pilot for Murphy`s Law on BBC 1 was seen by more than seven million people, and led to three TV series, on which I was the chief writer."[1]
