The annual metal and hard rock loving Soundwave Festival is rolling into your town this summer, bringing with it the tatts and beards of Slayer, Queens of the Stone Age, Primus, and of course, headliners Iron Maiden (pictured).

To jump on the wagon, we've got a special prizepack to give away to one lucky punter.

One handsome person stands to win:

A guitar signed by the stars of Soundwave 2011.

Soundwave CD packs.

All you have to do is tell us right here, what you would say to any member of a Soundwave 2011 band, if given the chance in person. That, or a video of someone playing a blazing guitar solo whilst skateboarding. (If the video is of you, you've pretty much got the prize in the bag. Just sayin'.)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.   Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2.   Entry is open to all residents of Australia. However, employees and their immediate families of Fairfax Digital Australia & New Zealand Pty Ltd and Lifelounge and its associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3.   The competition commences on Thursday 9th December 2010 at 9am (AEDT) and concludes on Sunday 9th January 2011 at 11:59pm. (AEDT)
4.   To enter, is tell us in our forum, what you would say to any member of a Soundwave 2011 band, if given the chance in person? Most creative answer wins.
5.   Entries (including winner) into the competition is limited to one (1) entry per person.
6.   Entrants must be 18 years or older. Winners will be contacted through the site. A name and day time delivery address must be provided by the winner.
7.   A judging panel will review all entries submitted on Monday 10th January 2011. The entry that is judged the best and most creative entry will be deemed the major prize winner. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.   The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
9.   Major prize: A guitar signed by the stars of Soundwave 2011. A limited edition Soundwave skate deck. An Atticus clothing pack. Electric sunglasses. A Soundwave CD pack. Valued at: Money can't buy
10.   If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State Regulation.
11.   In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.

12.   Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate prize redemption date.
13.   Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
14.   Winners will be contacted through the site and will need to provide a mailing address where they can receive and sign for their prize during the day.
15.   Fairfax Digital Australia & New Zealand Pty Ltd, Lifelounge and its associated agencies and companies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
16.   All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent.
